it is best when you have a couple of showers because people really clear out of the parks. it is still plenty warm enough to be out and about.
we have our ponchos and just go for it.

Okay ... my latest great idea

I am thinking of bringing a bottle of Malibu Rum (the original coconut kind) and then I can add some orange juice and fruit punch and attempt my own Bahama Mamas.

What do you think?

If I am going to be "making some new friends" once you see me enjoying my new drink, tell me now so I can plan to bring 2-3 bottles.

I just realized I did not have my "light turned on" ... somehow I was invisible mode ... I didn't even know there was an invisible mode.

Dawn- Last night Alex saw your photo and all he noticed was the castle behind you. I said "that's Cinderella's castle". He said "I want to go there." (He's never been.)

I said "tell daddy."
So he goes over to daddy "Daddy, I want to go to the castle".
Daddy: "No."
Mommy: "Someday Alex."

Then for Cheri's photo I named all the people and then he said "yes, and a snowman and a snowman...."

"Daddy" the joke in our house is.....I WAS "Daddy" from the time they were born 'till about 1st grade......then when it was about time for a car.....yes I'm "Daddy" for a few more years!!!

Professional photo update.

I sendta fax today,no response yet which is fine, i didnt expect it yet.

I also send a letter to DCL communications and they said there is an $85 dollar fee to our a group photo taken, plus price of the pictures.

I personally think that is a cheap shot!
The photographer is already on board and they would be making a lot of money from the photos they sold.
So I am sure when I hear back in the next couple of days they will tell me the same thing, so I need to know what you guys think?

Do we do this ourselves or divide up the $85 among us all.

One suggestion from what I learned last year,
we should try to do a kids group photo, of course a few moms who need to hold the littlest ones still and then do an adult one.
Of course any kids who are too young to be left standing alone while we take a photo can beheld by their parents in the photo too.

But this would make it easier to get everyone in the photo.
we are a minimum of 75 people, maximum of 90 people, including the kids.

I am open to thoughts and ideas on all of this, lets speak up now because we dont have much time to make a decision.

You definitely do NOT have to pay a fee. We can just talk to the Shutters Manager once on board. I have been part of many group shots and there was never a fee. The only time I have heard of a fee is when groups have "special requested" backgrounds.

We should have a few times as options and they will let us know which they can best accommodate.

Hey!!! How's my peeps? I have to catch up. Otherwise, I won't know how to torture you. Have a question: I know DH can't wear shorts for dinner, but what about for lunch in the dining rooms? Also, what do the kids wear for dinner?

I wore shorts one night on our last sailing......I believe one night in PC....possibly pirate night......no biggie!
