yes, ma'am.... she came in late last night. I have a feeling I'm gonna have a tired girl on my hands tonight....

can I count Saturday twice? If so....MEMEMEMEMEME...if not....YOU YOU YOU YOU YOU......

Hello, Nanas! I've been held hostage in Honors Biology Project Hell. DD slept 4 hours and had every technical glitch on earth.

But, I'm back in the form of my adult filmstar name...Cat Baby Emmett.:lmao:

Hope you guys are great...it's DD's birthday. I got him and Sarah two year passes to Universal. I KNOW...it's not Disney, but they are berserk about higher, faster roller coasters. I just stay in the World and soak up the love.

We're off to watch DD cheer...with Varsity tonight! Our team is number one in North Carolina and we are hosting the first round of state playoffs. I'll be the one making DCL lists in the stands. Thrilled to be off Monday for Veteran's Day...will begin serious packing of items we won't need. Can't wait.

Jaime and Shell, it's time to drag out some holiday decorations so we don't have to wait.

Kim, I'm back, hon...with my most childish act...Playing music too loudly and singing at the top of my lungs in the car. Yesterday, "Build Me up Buttercup" came on the radio while driving to school, and I tore it up! Same with Journey, Bon Jovi, and Def Leppard. I must admit that Judy and I have also done the same with Barry Manilow! Oh, and I might be the only educator who knows all the words to Rapper's Delight by the Sugarhill Gang. I do love most oldies from Sinatra to Bobby Darrin to Motown.:woohoo: Get ready, Christine!

Gotta fly...TTFN

Another try!!

So tell me any special at MK last weekend?

Not really.

I saw on the morning news today where they are decorating the parks and hotels right now.

I love hopping from hotel to hotel to see the decorations each one has.

Grand Floridian has the huge gingerbread house. Epcot has the gingerbread house at the restaurant at the american pavillion. Then the yacht and beach club has a gingerbread carousel that is really cool. Have you ever seen it?

Of course the Polynesian has a Christmas scene with an active volcano which is neat. The tree a Animal Kingdom hotel is very unusual.

Of course MGM is all decked out too.

I am excited to get back and see the castle for Christmas. It is covered with tiny white lights, so at night it will shimmer light icy snow all over it.
It has never been decorated that way before.
Hope you and the boys get to see it too.

kathy

We see the gingerbread house at the American Pavilion every year. Let's see last year we visited the Contemporary to search for hidden mickeys in their display.

Thanksgiving night we plan on visiting the Osborne lights at the Studios. They were amazing last year. The choreographed music was exceptional. I do miss the old way that they use to be displayed on the back streets on the houses. Remember wearing the 3D glasses to see the angels. The boys still remember doing that. We still have the glasses and put them on to look at our Christmas lights.

I am looking forward to seeing the castle. As long as they don't make a cake of it again, I'm good!

i still have our 3D glasses packed away. :goodvibes that was fun. The first year they changed it, they did a terrible job, but now it is much better than it was at first.
we go every year.
We also go to the Contempory and I have pictures of looking for the hidden Mickeys in the Chocolate display last year. I did miss all the small gingerbread houses they use to have by the escalators in the shopping area. Ordinary people did them and they were great. have you seen them?

Didn't the CMs or family members make them?

I dont think so, they had names and ages on them, like they had a contest and these were the winners. soem were doen by kids which i really enjoyed. Kids can be so creative.

we did one on the ship last year and hope to do one again this year. Just got to sign up the first day before they get filled up.

Kathy

Well, seems to me that tomorrow will consist of packing, packing, and more packing :goodvibes ahhh....
I feel like the weeks leading up to the cruise are better than the cruise itself!
Is that blasphamy? :scared: :scared:

I love the cruise too Mr. Mouse :mickeyjum: :mickeyjum: :mickeyjum:

Josh

Hi Josh,

Hope you can post a lot this weekend,it looks like most people are going to be busy tomarrow
we need to keep our numbers up!!!

kathy

Must have been thinking of something else then.

I really enjoy the Candlelight Processional last year. The boys just tolerated it for me.

You know what I really miss is the Food & Wine Festival. When the boys were little and lower grades, we always went. We all love it. It is just at the worst possible time for us now.

Skylar would really like to go to one of the Star Wars weekend. But bad timing for them also.
