Jaime, don't worry about it! First of all, DCL has only cancelled one time and that was in 2002 due to illness. Second, as long as you have trip insurance, if they did cancel, it would be covered, plus I'm sure in true Disney style, you'd be taken care of. Third, those ships are run by professionals, and are two of the safest ships on the sea. You can even check their safety ratings!

You may remember that Ron's family and our family were on that cancelled 2002 cruise. Disney did us right, for sure, and got us primo everything, including multiple magical wishes for FABULOUS MEALS, spa treatments, sailing, etc. Worry not...the party would move to the world!

Back to fire up the music and clean up the house.... Robin and I ran from one side of town to the other being breathless and looking for anything Disney, bumped into a Disney friend at THE K-Mart and stood in the store turning on all the musical Disnney decorations and ohhhh, ahhhhh, we love it SO MUCH!!!!
We love being crazy DIsaholics! Secret meetings in the aisles of Kmart and Walmart to make the magic sing................

Did DCL do anything to try to make cancelling your cruise ok? I would be very upset....

Can't say I like reading about leaking DCL ships either though....

They gave me half my $$$$ back, paid for ALL meals at WDW, gave us an extra day before the Wonder sailing and 2 days after at WDW with meals.....oh ya, they ALSO gave me half off of our 03 Eastern replacement and a quadroople upgrade.......

Supposedly, the $10 you pay at Palo's for dinner pays your tip. However, most people add on to that, because you will get awesome service. I think we probably added another $10, if I remember right (I could be wrong).

Sorry if these are delayed answers. I was out shopping all day. Hey, I saved more than I spent...in my book that is like it was all free Gotta spend money to save money right

Anyway...The last time we tipped $20 on top of the $10/person. They deserved it.

Do you guys put anything on your luggage besides the tags to make it stand out? When went on a Carnival cruise, years ago, I remember all of the luggage being in a warehouse, or open area for pick up.

Yes, we here in Wilmington have a secret band of merry Mickey-lovers. We cluster around the Disney merchandise, close our eyes, and say... what does that song remind you of? Then smile our secret smile and wander off to the other sections of the store....... shhhhhhhh..... it is a secret society.
