Well, My mom's surgery is now on Thursday-as it would figure, the same day I am supposed to go the Shey Institute as U of P about my eye...

Rick has messed his back up-been practically bed wridden for the past 2 days...NOT GOOD!!!

will check in later.....

For all you "dieters" just got this e-mail from the webmaster......

What is it about cruising that attracts so many travelers to the seven seas? Is it the opportunity to see the world? The remarkable cultures waiting to be experienced in exotic ports of call? The promise of a perfect family vacation?

Or is it the 1,400 lbs. of lobster?

Cruising has long been associated with delicious, abundant food, so just for fun we asked what it takes to supply a typical week-long cruise on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas, the largest ship afloat. Here's what is consumed every 7 days:
234,000 appetizers; 105,000 meals and 300,680 desserts
20,000 lbs. of beef, including 69,000 steaks
12,000 lbs. of chicken
4,000 lbs. of seafood; 2,500 lbs. of salmon and 1,400 lbs. of lobster
65,000 lbs. of fresh vegetables and 35,000 lbs. of fresh fruits
5,800 lbs. of cheese
28,000 fresh eggs
18,000 slices of pizza
8,000 gallons of ice cream
1,500 lbs. of coffee and 1,500 gallons of milk
11,500 cans of soda; 19,200 bottles and cans of beer and 2,900 bottles of wine
Weighing in at 158,000 tons, the 5-star Freedom of th

Just one more thing....did you guys notice that we eat almost 3 times the amount of desserts on a cruise than the meals:eek:

Is this why I gain 9 pounds in a week...:rolleyes1

I finally got my butt back to the gym this week because I, too, need to shed a few lbs. before sailing. So I look at the schedule and see that hip hop aerobics is offered tonight at 5:30...perfect I thought. I get there and sign in then the lady says "so, are you here for strip tease?" to which I replied "excuse me?". :scared1: :scared1: Apparently last Friday was the last week of hip hop and now strip tease aerobics starts for six weeks. Since I was already there I figured I would just stay and do the class. Let me tell you....very, very interesting. :rotfl: I came home and told hubby and he laughed so hard I thought he was going to wet himself.

:lmao: :lmao:
At first I thought it said "hip" aerobics and I thought that would be perfect for me... but Strip Tease aerobics.. even better!!:rotfl2:

Son: As Kathy said...the nice man with the Vettte's name is RoN not RoB...

Sorry Ron, I erred. I got your name mixed up with Rob, the guy from the cruise that launches a week before us.

MOM, you spelt 'vette' wrong so  you erred too.

Good grief! After two days of having the "can't find server" message on two laptops and our computer, I'm FINALLY on! And, I must say, you all sound SO much thinner than the last time I posted!:lmao:

Robin, if you're still having problems with your server, check your proxys and see if they're honky-dory. :thumbsup2

It's ok Josh... I say we just start calling him Rob!:rotfl2:

Morning!
The days starting out good! Thank God I found the mask to Alex's spiderman costume this morning. I was on the verge of having to buy a new costume!!:scared:

Checked out gagas.com for outfits for the boys, but can't order them until Nov.12-14 because it's a 3 week rental. Hope they have the sizes I need then! They did today!!

Have a great day everybody!:hippie:

Good morning guys,

Hope everyone has a great weekend. The rain has stopped here but it is still a little overcast.

Okie, That is pretty cool that you have family in Statesville, small world huh? Hope all goes well with you, your mom and Rick.

Only 28 more days left!!!!!!!!

Josh, Great job on the SAT. I know you and your folks are proud!!! Way to go:woohoo:

Okie, oh my gosh, I'd be a nervous wreck with everything going on that you have. You'll definitely NEED a vacation to get away from it all!

:wave2: Hi Shell

Ron, Thanks for the link. I've just spent the last hour looking at his pictures!
