He's a Nebraska grad...worked there as an assistant AD for a while then came to Pitt and brought great things to the University. Most people were very sorry to see him go. While the basketball program has continued to thrive, the football program has become a joke. I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

Ok this is too weird. I continue to post at the top of pages. Even on days when I don't post much I wind up at the top of a page. Could I translate that into some good Karma and get rid of this sickly feeling I've had the last 2 days...or get a winning lottery ticket....

It's serious stuff... I'm suprised they were patient this long before firing someone...

The only reason I knew right away is because my boss lady was stomping around the office with her cell phone announcing it like it was the most important thing of the day...

Nebraska fans were upset (slight understatement)because they fired Frank Solich after a 9-3 season. So the odds were already stacked against him. Because Callahan & crew haven't been in the National Championship each of the past four years, they are failures in the eyes of the state. And don't forget that they don't run the Option anymore. That's considered heresy in Big Red land.

While I'm very disappointed in their performance so far this year, I don't think a complete overhaul is necessary, but what do I know? My life revolves around the DIS!!!!

Speaking of dreams -- thanks to all the talk about waxing & body hair, I had a dream that my leg hair was about 3-4 inches long and sticking straight out from my legs!

I found updated Navigators. Go to the DCL trip reports. It's the one called Back 2 Back Magic. She has Sat-Tues posted and they are really easy to read and print.

I LOVE THE SPA! I never have time at home, so I love the treat. On the first day, try a spa taster...facial and massage. Judy and I have booked the stone massage. You can have your massage customized...just tell the girls what you prefer. The Rainforest is the most relaxing place on earth. LOVE IT! Try the aromatic showers...oh, my! Loved the hairdresser as well.

We've been busy planning and getting out of control thinking about the next few weeks! You've missed some pretty funny stuff, including Okie's cat wearing a helmet shaped lime!

Some of the girls aren't shaving their legs for World Series good luck, everyone is getting squirrely from celebrity rehab and tabloid pressure, and Mutt has been seen in the trees.

Mel told us about her cousin who became a female after being born a male...there also was a short stint as a Hari Krishna. Good times!
