At least I didn't have to go shopping for more clothes in St. Maarten because I forgot enough shorts & t-shirts. . .

Don't think I told you guys that happened on our Yellowstone trip this summer. DH had no shirts so we had to find a mall in Wyoming so we could buy him shirts. I thought I could trust him to pack them....

I had Dairy Queen for lunch. Good thing I got on the elliptical this morning, but now I feel like I need to get on it again to compensate!

Cheri- I'm going to get a basket from Shirley for the boys. I figure that way I don't have to pack very many snacks!

Christine- Avon has those cleansing towels too. I always travel with them. I don't know what size the Dove ones are. But Avons are way bigger than you really need to get enough soap to wash your face. So I cut them in half and save some money.

Does this mean you're Scarlett now? I remember those style hats, I was in wedding for a girlfriend who had one! And the bridesmaids all wore these cowboy-style hats with a big feather in the side of them. NO I'm not kidding!

Okay, I've never heard of "baskets from Shirley?" Please elaborate.

I also have a spreadsheet list for each kind of trip we take. I cross off when we load and circle any last minute items. I even put down the toothbrushes, hair brushes and watches, turn down water heater, etc. as a last minute column. I'll probably have different sets of suitcases for this trip: one for the road, one for WDW and Radisson, and for the cruise.

The last time we went to WDW, I had everything packed except for the "older" stuff which we wear for the last couple days while I wash everything up. Christian was wearing the underwear from his suitcase! He only had 4 underwear in his suitcase! I was looking all over and muttering to myself that "I know that I packed more underwear than this" and Christian said "you repacked my underwear you washed didn't you!"

It's suppose to drop to 36 degrees tonight. I actually had to run the furnace to get rid of the chill in the house this morning.

Jen, If I were you I'd call Dreams Unlimited (sponsors of this board). This is my first time using them but I've been really impressed. They notified us twice of discounts to the cruise. And I changed my reservations twice on them! Let them find out all the info for you!

Who's ordering a basket from Shirley or from DCL?

We're definitely getting something for Jessalyn. I'll be sure to order Coke for the pop choices so Bill can use them with his Bacardi!
Last year we did the beach pails and snacks. Shirley did a great job!

Does anyone know off-hand how to go about adding other items to Shirley's baskets? For instance, including a princess doll could be a good idea. Is that something I would buy and ship down there, or do they go out and buy it and add it to the cost of the basket?

Anyone ever do a basket with alcoholic drinks (or any specific drinks)?

Just wondering what you guys have done before I call Shirley and ask her a million questions!!

Howdy Howdy, just playing some NCAA Football on the PS2. My sis had to watch some TV, so I won by default. We played Penn State (me) verses Miami (my sis). The catch was that we were playing Mascots, in Florida... in the snow. Talk about your fantasy games...
