Let's talk about packing. I know what some of you are and are not bringing. (Christine has matching flops for each outfit) What can I get away with? The least I can get away with. Tell me again about dress for lunch.......shorts are okay but no bathing suit?

It depends on whether you mean buffet or dining room (right?)
Can't you pretty much wear whatever (within reason) to the buffet? That means no thong Kim...

Do you know, Do they have bikes with seats (or with carts you can pull) if I wanted to take Jackson?

yes they do have child seats, helmets and bikes with training wheels.

sometimes the ones with child seats rent out quickly but no worries since they can only rent for an hour. just check back in an hour. they are nice bikes and in good shape.
we rent them about every other time we go to explore the island.

Ummm is that a bad thing . Hey I was able to get down to bringing only 7 pairs of shoes. I think that is the least amount of shoes I have ever taken on vacation. I am also considering maybe wearing the same thing twice at least the casual outfits. I said maybe don't know if when it comes to packing I will be able to. Please tell me there is someone out there that packs as like I don't. Doesn't everyone bring 8 bathing suits with matching cover ups on vacation

PS: every time I have taken Airbourne before a vacation...I got sick. This year I am just sticking to a Flu Shot.

I used a very old version of microsoft picture it...actually liked the older better than the newer...I have also done some pretty nice things with paint...as basic as the program is it can still do some nice things.

Not quiet sure what other things we are doing for the door besides that one..haven't decided...I read someone even put garland on the door...

OMG on the shoes. I'm dying over here. (That was me 3 years ago) I think I brought @ least that many on the 1st cruise. After that 1st one I bring one pair of shoes for formal night, my H20 shoes and a black pair of Teva sandals. After stumbling around on heels after drinking and with the Motion o the Ocean. I stick with flat sandals for dinner and all the times inbetween. As far as clothing, I get by with as little as possible. One suitcase is filled with formal attire, one is filled with snorkeling stuff, and then I only have 2 more that I bring. Oh and I have to pack the DH and DS's stuff too. You'll see me in a sarong and a t-shirt most days, maybe less (hush bill). My big thing you cannot leave home without is a over the door shoe holder. I would freak out if I left mine at home. There is simply NOT enough room in the bathrooms and we keep everything we might need on the outside that way if they are occupied for some reason, there isn't any of this bare a** handing things out (TREY).

Ok there is my 2 cents. Just remember your on vacation and that those people aren't going to talk about what you were wearing to dinner or lunch, only how drunk you were the night before. (Love ya all)

Whasssup S? I had to comment on the shoes. I actually bought a new pair for the cruise. And the dress to go with them. I have packing lists, but .... soccer.

Same ole, same ole. Waiting for the day to end ... not in the mood to work! Just bought some new black leather boots online ... not for the cruise, but because I had a 30% off coupon which took them to under $50! WOOHOO! Other than that ... just biding my time until 11/24!

I got the over-the-door-shoe holder and used it this summer in our camper. It was worth it's weight in plastic!! I plan on snatching it out of the camper and bringing it on the cruise. I had always heard that it was good idea, but now that I have 3 children to pick up after I really understand it now!!! And mine is clear plastic so you can see right where everthing is!

I will probably bring one pair of black dress sandals or shoes, some flip flops, water shoes and casual sandals. We just have way to much stuff to pack for me to bring anything more.

But Christine... if you enjoy it.. then more power to you!

Tonya-Glad to hear from ya'. I know I should listend to you and Shell about how heels, alcohol and waves don't mix, BUT this is a lession I'm going to have to learn on my own. I'm short, gotta have the heels. I'm going to buy a sarong in DW. I saw yours in the pic CUTE

Just bought my yesterday...it's clear plastic too...figured it would make everything a little easier.

How much is it to wash laundry on the Magic? Is it usually busy? We didn't want to bring too much with us...no real good shopping here so I want to leave lots of room in my suitcases for on the way home. I love shopping at the outlets in Orlando...even Glen likes it...the girls are never too happy about it but I am sure with time I won't get them clear of the mall
