11/24/07 We are Better Than Leftovers!!! Nana Head reunion Part 2

Good evening all. Just back from the mall. Lynn are you lurking? It's Mina's birthday on Saturday and Elizabeth's on Monday. Lizzie has a sleepover at a play place (like a bigger kid chuckie cheese with climbers, trampoline, a movie room, etc) on Friday night. I don't get to stay (darn!) but will be there til about 11 for the cake and singing then i'm outta there to get some sleep.

Also heading to Chicago on Thursday for a meeting. Overnighting in the suburbs (that's also where the meeting is) but have to have dinner with the client too. Long day and night it's going to be.

Hope you all are keeping out of trouble as best you can!

I was wondering when you would post more bananas. i didnt think you would let it go unchallenged!!

You can walk across the street to Mickey D's if you want and save your parents some $$. I think the menu did have burgers at lunch and dinner if I remember correctly.
I am not sure how late it is open though??

There is also an italian restaurant on the far side of the Radisson that has great italian food and pizza. Easy to walk to. Unless your Shell and have been waiting at the Tiki bar all afternoon and evening.

Evening all-
Knew it wouldn't be too long before Robin told you all about my little "security" issue- to not go into details, but be sure Bozo, or Bongo, or whatever his name is from the Radisson who drives you and your luggage to the port doesn't leave just that one piece on the sidewalk UNATTENDED on the sidewalk so they feel the need to call security and the bomb sniffing dogs,etc as you are merrily posing with Mickey inside the terminal.before MR SECURITY GUARD threatens to shut the whole place down and they take you by the arm and look at you like you are BinLaden in drag... without the beard of course (of course Bin Ladin is looking a bit slim these days- do you think he is dieting???)
A Disney moment I will never forget...

The girls are much better .....strep is going away..
Going to a platinum wedding this weekend, just to see how the other half live .

We do like to hit the gym on board. I have not taken a class yet, if someone wants a cohort let me know. I do like to walk up on the track early before breakfast if anyone wants to join me. Don't go thinkin I'm a gym queen or anything, I like to eat and have a few(hmmm which one today? ) and these hips show it

Re: transportation - we've used tiffany and loved them. we did rent last time, budget and no problems but dh felt like he was working with having to drop us off and then drop the car off and get a shuttle so I'm booking with tiffany again - on my to-do list.

Wish we were partying at the rad but our flight arrives after 11pm so we'll stay at the airport hotel. Still debating about post-cruise.We have 2 nights oh where to stay and what to do? tried to rent dvc points but nothing available, rooms at the contemp are so $$$ plus word is to stay away from mk due to the parade filming. DS wants nick hotel but.....maybe universal or seaworld but....I want to see Cinderella

Yes MLKjr we are all getting along, and then susie cranky pants who has been dieting and not drinking for ONE whole day gets testy Thank goodness I am still drinking its gonna get me through the next few weeks with you crazy people.

I would bring directions from Map Quest just in case. We're pretty familiar with the area, but when I did ask they guy "in the box" from Alamo for directions somewhere...........I'm not sure he even knew his name Yeah, and DON'T FORGET the tolls....

Kim- Last time I brought mapquest. That's how I got lost. Important.... pay attention to how you are exiting the airport. You can have all the turns right but that first turn is a doosy.
