I just love when you post stuff like this because you always get SOMEONE yelling at you. Wendy when you talk about kim. Kim when you talk about Wendy. Cheri when you don't mention her. And me..just whenever I can. It's a great sport! :rotfl2:

Sorry to throw up the red flag but I gotta protect my fellow Nana heads. Tip was not prepaid..and while I didn't stiff the driver, I didn't make it worth her miserable while. i will say I contacted them after the fact and they refunded half my fare.. saying it was a car they were putitn gout of commission AFTER our trip...but still, I wouldn't trust them again. We had a good experience several years ago going to WDW (before magical express) with Tiffany Towncar.

Jeff - I really appreicate the red flags...we have already had a few with the company...they didn't want to give me anything confirming my orginal cancellation...which concerned us because they could change our credit card if we didn't show up.... and we were taken back a little by the bold and in red "20% GRATUITY RECOMMENDED!!!!!" on our ressie...we do always tip but I just found it strange...it really stood out.

Your experience was horrible...bad service would have been bad enough but to have a SUV that needed servicing and cleaning:scared1: It would put a damper on the beginning of our vacation for sure. I'm going to make a few calls today....we are still a little concern they will try to charge us.

Who is everyone using for transportation?

Jeffery Jeffery, now you know better than that, we are all so sweet and mild mannered(excuse me while I vomit a little) :lmao: Now Jeff where did I put that big spoon I had for you?

Hi Jaime - we are using Southern Elegance for transport both to and from port. So far I've heard all good things from them, and they were very helpful on the phone. Nothing has seemed to raise a red flag yet. Our tip is NOT included - we will pay it after we have been dropped off at port. Hope this helps!

Of course, Judy will have to tell you the story of her missing suitcase (not her fault) and the ensuing bomb threat! You haven't lived until you've been drinking on the verandah and begin seeing guys in bomb suits.:rotfl: The families that had to wait two hours in the sun weren't laughing, though...:rolleyes1

Lurking again and saw this post and reminded me of this picture I received a while back:

It is great sport and I have a front row seat to enjoy it!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks Shell, but my little ones have little ones of their own, so no comparrison with other kids on the cruise, unless you count my cute grandkids!!! I could throw them into the arena for the battle here.

Sleep Mutt sleep:ssst: It is the safest place for you right now, to stay out of trouble. :rolleyes1
We will all :tiptoe: around you today.

Kathy

I'm gonna stay on my rug in the kitchen and be a good mutt....shhhhhh.....sleeping......

Shhhhhhh everyone the baby is sleeping

Shell are you there yet?

Jamie, if we do go we will be driving our own car.

Cheri, any cows out last night?:rotfl2:

Good Morning All:

Having one of the those days where I know im forgetting something. Dropped the kid @ school, went to work, got on the boards, what am I forgetting? Who knows, it will come to me soon.

We can talk about Woo now, I know she's in the air. Hopefully being safe.

Bob I see your still lurking, glad to see ya. Seen that shirt before, love it.

Kim, PM me with your #. I will have Hunter call soon, we have open house tonight and then we let our rental go back tomorrow, so it could get hairy trying to get everything done this evening.

Gosh, how many more days? 65 until i leave. Yippeee.

As far as transportation, we are getting rental car, we then leave it at Budget, and they (should) have a similar one for our return to Orlando. In the throws of the stomach bug we got last year, they were unable to find out confirmation # and the car. We stood there for about an hour, I actually think I threatened to throw up on them if they didn't hurry. Just another reason to have all of your ressie information in one place. We like the freedom of having our own car, we like to stop by downtown disney and piddle, but with the big party at the port doubt we will do that.

TTYL.

Jaime, we are using FL Tours to get to port. No red flags coming up in making the reservation, hope all goes well. Anyone have any experience?

Just did a search for transportation companies in Orlando...wow there are alot!

What time does it get dark in Florida in late Nov?

Jaime,
I mentioned before, but we are using Sunray transportation. They had good reviews and everything has been great so far. Hopefully will stay that way.:) We don't have to pay them until we see them and we get a free 30 minute grocery stop which DH will be using to buy beer.

Which brings me to the subject. Does anyone bring beer onboard and if so how do you go about doing that? I know I've read rolling cooler before. Do I need to purchase one?

Hey guys!!!! I HATE running errands............Anyhoo, great job on the posting!!!

I'm always jealous when Shell goes to Texas. Good mexican food and maragaritas you know!!
Don't forget the cowboys:love: (Not that she pays any attention I'm sure)

allears is a website I use a lot and they have very good reviews for ***********. They do a grocery stop as well. I don't know what they're prices are like to the port but you could check them out.

DS has doctor appointment today, so pick him up from school in an hour. Need to eat lunch, check in later...................

Mutt-you, innocently sleeping? :lmao: :rotfl2: Let's see.........last time she came to a :sleeping Mutt b:cleaning Mutt or c:drunken Mutt? Hmmmmmmmmm........I believe the answer is C:rotfl:

they wouldn't let me pos it:headache: Ha! It starts with a Q and is another word for "fast" then a color-not gold but s*****. One word. I could've PMd you but I didn't want them to get the best of me..............

we bring the whole bar on board:lmao:

We are renting a van with Budget when we get into Orlando...just for one day so we can have the flexibility of stopping along the way, perhaps going to DTD before we head to the port.

We still haven't decided how we are getting from the port to DW after the cruise. I need to do that soon!

We prefer not to drive...feels more like a vacation when your not getting lost:rotfl: We are renting a car from budget after the cruise though...we wanted to do some outlet shopping...we are going to drop it off in DTD.
