I'm here!!! I'm just busy!!!! Gee whiz, some of us have to work to afford our vacations, y'know. We can't just go scampering about to FLA whenever we like... like SOME people do even if they DO live by the beach already!

I know what you mean! I was almost caught up reading posts and DH called and needed me to do WORK! Apparently he didn't realize he was cutting in to my DIS time!

I got to run in the rain today - YUCK! And I actually had wear (gasp!) a lightweight jacket. At least I ran before it started pouring. . .

We hear ya!!! I am NEVER home this early, but since DD and I are still recovering from the cold, I bailed today! Called Judy, and she is, indeed, a friend in need...hear need a drink!

Jeff, you're right, Huskers certainly won't (or shouldn't) be too confident when they play USC next week! Yikes! My dad's worried that his season tickets for this week won't fetch a good price on E-Bay now!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- good thing I'm not a Michigan or Notre Dame fan!!!! At least one one them will have to win next week. . .

I have a self-imposed moratorium on NFL -- until the Raiders can string together a 5-win season, I won't waste my time on Sundays. Shell -- you may need to try that!!

Sharon -- glad to see we didn't completely scare you away!!!

Thanks for the feedback about where to eat lunch on day 1. . .

Kim -- glad to hear you had a great time at WDW!! We have Palo reservations for Thursday night at 7:00 (I think.) We also have Brunch ressies for Sunday at 11:00 or something (I've already forgotten and I'm not even drinking!). DH wasn't overly enthused about brunch .

When he asked why I made the brunch reservation, I told him "4 words-- take your pick: 'Because Shell said to'; OR 'Alaskan King Crab Legs'" (Hopefully they still have them as mentioned in my Passporter. . .)

'spose I better go -- I still have an hour before quittin' time at Tara. . .

DS's Open House tonight. He's decided to run for VP of the SCA and so we're all up throwing together a poster and a speech Actually, the speech is pretty good. They all give a speech for the preliminary election tomorrow and then the top four move on to the real deal. I hope he does well.......my heart breaks when he's upset

Anyhoo............where the @#%* is Mutt? Didn't you miss me even a little

I know-Shell and Mutt are probably planning their trip to Va Beach to see me and have been too busy to post

Hi all - just wanted to check in now that our reservations are made! I didn't have the trouble you all did getting on to the website. I logged in at 12:02 eastern time and got right on. Of course, like you all said, the Palo brunches and teas were gone. We got Thursday night at 8:30-10:30, so whoever it was that said they were the same time, we'll see you there! We have booked the Golden Eagle Catamaran at St. Maarten (1-5:30) and the Screamin' Eagle Jet Boat at St. Thomas (12:10-2:20). We can't wait!!

P.S. Sorry Jeff, I never remember when Alyssa is up to have her e-mail Elizabeth! I promise, it is nothing personal. I just don't think of it when she is around.

Morning all,

we finally booked our excursions.

We are doing Pinel Island snorkeling excrusion at St. Maartin and Blackbeards walking tour at St. Thomas. We had a hard time deciding because we have done so many of them already.



Maybe Bill got lost on one of his runs??
He is avoiding all of us for some reason.

Hi guys-
I'm back from my brother's wedding weekend. Unfortunately I got sick over the weekend with strep throat and an ear infection so I was out yesterday as well. I haven't felt this sick in a long time. I'm back at work today but probably shouldn't be, but I'm on deadline for my magazine so I can't afford to be gone.

Anyway, I don't have time to read all the posts! The wedding was beautiful and sometime soon I'll post some really cute pics of the boys in their little tux outfits. It was a trying day as a parent though as #1 son was having problems in the potty area and #2 just wanted to run everywhere all night long. Picture me chasing a little one around a dance floor. I was photography assistant in addition to Mom so it was a LONNNNG day!!

I'll post a photo of the day later if I get my legs underneath me!

Cheri- We didn't find out what happened with the Huskers until we got back to our room late that night and looked it up on the internet. We were with my family many of whom are from Michigan who were a little dumbfounded at what happened to them on Saturday!! So that was the only score we heard all day! My hawkeyes did great though Chris looked it all up late Saturday while I lay comatose in the bed.

JEFF - Bella is 5, so she is old enough to go on the excursions with us. Is Emily not old enough for the Oceaneers Club?? Also, did you mention before that you and Elizabeth were going to go parasailing or am I just making that up? I am looking so forward to the Screamin' Eagle Jet Boat! We are all daredevils, so it should be fun for us. Has anybody done this before?
