11/24/07 We are Better Than Leftovers!!! Nana Head reunion Part 2

Hey, we're only 200 posts away from 6,000! Now that we are all so excited, Kathy, I think we'll go over 6K very soon!!!

Let's talk about attire...Judy and I are scaling down the formal wear...last year, DH and I went to Topsider's for semiformal because we were to laid back to get all dressed up. We'll definitely make it to formal night, but we're not as "we have to dress up" as we used to be. I've bought the Space bag hanging bags for our hanging clothes on the ship...they have long "extra large" bags for our dresses. Very cool.

So, I enrolled this new family last Friday who had just returned from the World...that, of course, got me going, and this new daddy is ready to book DCL! We should ALL work for the cruiseline! Is there ANYONE more excitable than our crowd?

I guess we shouldn't bring up the Mickey bars or the chocolate dipped Mickey rice krispy treats. I know someone who gets all crazy to cruise with the mouse over those things.

Is there ANYTHING better than Downtown Disney Rice Krispy Treats or a frozen solid Mickey bar??? Yum, Mutt...thanks for the memories!

OK. If that's how you're gonna be I'm gonna have to pull out the big guns. If you can make it through my poor videoing of the sail away party, there's some really pretty sunset shots.



Editorial: I apologize for the poor videoing. I was a little distracted on this trip. So it kinda sucks. But I was pregnant so cut me some slack.

Yes, the tree lighting ceremony is great !!! We always do that too on the first night, however our last time the tree didnt light up
Later it was fixed but it was a let down when it didnt light up.

New people, try to be on the atrium level right in front of the restaurant, i wont say why but one of the special effects is best enjoyed if your on the bottom floor.

Walts picture was on the Wonder, mid ship stairs between decks 3 and 4.


Boy you guys have been busy posting this afternoon.

Mr. Toads race, someone mentioned it, cant remember who but last time it was at least 2 different days, so read ahead on other Navigators and it may still be done a second time so you can still do the wine tasting.
n fact on the 7 day it may of been 3 times I saw it. So read ahead you may both be able to do what you want.

Alright Cheri, your team may start Saturday, but my Tigers( ranked #2 in the country mind you) start Thursday 7pm on ESPN (yes we are a little excited here) of course only in New Orleans would the Saints play at home on the same night as a LSU game and people are giving away the Saints tickets to stay home and watch the Tigers.

Even more fun is tomorrow my favorite guy George W is coming down here for the two year anniversary of Katrina, I am still trying to figure that one out ? I figure he should come next week since thats how long it took him to get here the year it actually happened...

I am sorry that I am not going with you this time. I hope you all have a great time. I just wanted to chime in about HSM 1 and 2. I applaud Disney for making movies like this. As a mother to three girls. I can honestly say that I will never stop them from watching these movies. Okay okay it doesn't help that I like them too. I esp. like the songs.

At this point, I'm pretty darn excited that the Huskers are ranked in the top 25! Oh how my standards have been lowered! What ever happened to the 37-0 run we once enjoyed???

Perhaps he'll perform an air guitar concert?? I think that's what he was doing on the actual day Katrina hit. . .

Are the navigators posted somewhere? I'd love to see if I can do a bit of pre-planning. The tree lighting sounds wonderful. On our past cruises we really enjoyed the family disco nite and family games events.

I also love the disney hsm movies and music. I thought the second movie had much better dance sequences. My son is 6 and he and his friends love singing some of the songs and we're waiting in anticipation of reshowing. I know there is a hsm 3 in production but is there a 4th in the makes also?
