So we lost our Passporter. Been looking for it for weeks and with yesterday's 90 day booking window we just had to have it. So we stopped at a bookstore and bought it last night. Of course we'll find the old one at any moment.

But here is my dilemma that came up because I started reading it. Our room is listed as only accommodating 3 guests in it. There are four of us. Why would DCL allow us to book in that room if it only fits 3. Or is the passporter inaccurate about this kind of stuff? Inquiring minds want to know especially because I don't want to get moved to the first deck or too far forward on the ship (we prefer Aft). Suggestions?

OK, going with the pirate theme, here's my Mom & Dad on our 2005 family cruise:

Cruise087.jpg

What did you say, Mel? "Grandma boozing it up on pirate night?" :rotfl2: This had to be the funniest thing. Our waiter puts the bandana on Mom, we're all yelling, "Mom! Say ARRRRRRRR!". So Mom (who isn't generally real outgoing) gets geared up and says "ERRRRRRRRR!" We all laughed so hard we nearly fell out of our chairs!

P.S. Don't tell Mom I posted this. I need my inheritance :rotfl2:

Looked at the cabin reports and one person reported it had a bunk. That would mean it sleeps four, I think. So perhaps the passporter is wrong.

"Descrepancies exist between this and Disney's cruise brochure, but we've taken pains to make this more accurate. Due to ship capacity regulations, Disney may limit the number of guests in any room at the time of booking, regardless of the room's maximum capcity. However, if your party is booked into a particular room, you can rest assured that room will hold everyone in your party. In the event of confusion, call Disney at 888-DCL-2500."

yeah we read that and of course picked up the phone to call right away - - at like midnight last night! :lmao:

Hi Guys!
Well I woke up in the middle of the night so I got up and made our reservations. Good thing :scared: because there was only one time left I could get Palo Brunch and corresponding Founders nursery reservations.

So we have:
Monday Brunch at 10:30:woohoo:
Looks like we'll maybe see some of you there.

I also reserved some Flounders time and the "Under 2 Flags" tour for St. Martin in the morning. It is a short tour and if the kids cooperate we'll do a little beach time on our own in the afternoon.

I reserved the "Magen's Bay Break" for St. Thomas but am going to do some research as to whether we should keep that our just take a taxi on our own. It is long (from 9-4) and may be a awful long day for the boys.

Here's my photo of the day. Alex with a towel swan. He thought it was a snake.

The one thing you should know (we learned from experience) is to book Palo for whenever you can get it and so long as Flounders is open, they will accommodate you if you just tell them your dilemma early in the trip. Hopefully Janet will still be there (and Emily) as they were both wonderful caregivers.

Didn't anyone else reserve a Sunday morning Palo brunch? Geez.... its not like I get dog hair in the salmon mousse'.

I think Alex is the cutest little boy! I'm loving his pics...he'll love playing at Magen's Bay. You can take a taxi(price is controlled so you don't have to bargain)...go early, at 9, you can have a beach breakfast as needed, play, snorkle, have lunch and taxi back whenever it gets to be nap time. By then, it'll be crowded anyway.

My Dad used to trick me into believing that I found pirate pirate: gold in the surf...just pick up some gold coins in port and drop them in the shallow area for Alex. When he gets older, you can find them snorkling. Very magical!

In St. Maarten, we love KonTiki restaurant at Orient Beach.

Now this is what I'm talking about! :cool1: :thumbsup2 Kathy, as long as this keeps up, we won't be needing the... you know... :scared:

Okay so work today was LONG and SLOW and BORING, as always. I hear that minimum wage is up to $7.15/hr, which is cool. It's not really fun, however to get up at 5:30 AM. I actually saw my mom this morning, which never happens on her work days.

I have to do :laundy: .
... maybe later...
Hope you all got your excursions booked. :hippie:

- Josh

Is everyone sleeping? Geez....the weather must be awesome everywhere for the entire gang to be out and absent. We just finished dinner and I think we're gonna go and walk it off. I'll check back later.... (do I hear the cracking of the whip?---probably not since the whipcracker hasn't been here much either!)
pluto:

btw.... we were 7th from the bottom, Kathy....even those November 10 folks were ahead of us...geez.

Bill,

I'm here, I'm here, just had to take time off the computer for my yearly bath. It does take awhile to get off a years accumulation ya know:lmao:

It was a quiet day today. i think those who were up late to book are probably taking a nap tonight.

well time to get things done up for night time. Then off to bed.

By the way next thursday I am going to be gone for a few days. Going to Oregon to visit my mom and grandkids. I wont have a computer but I may get on once at my MIL's house one day, although she has dial up and it takes forever. So I expect lots of posting and   to be posted while I am gone. I will be counting upon my return.:dance3:

catch everyone tomarrow,

Kathy

Good evening everyone!!!!!!!! WOW, lots going on while I was away. Mountains were beautiful, wineries fabulous, fondu fattening and girl time relaxing. Sorry I don't have any pictures to post, WE DON'T ALLOW THEM:lmao:

I sure Ct. Nautica doesn't fill up for the early cruise. They will have one very angry bananahead to contend with. Mutt-thanks for reposting the recipe in my absence. I just hope they knew there was a break in between them. Maybe that's why no one has been posting today:rotfl2:

Woo/Mutt: What did you book again? I'm almost finished hi-lighting my Personal Navigators. They're soooo purty:love: Questions will be posted tomorrow.

Christine-Tell me more about the fireworks cruise. That sounds like fun!!!!!!! Way cooler than a pool party in December:rolleyes1 Loved your wedding photos. I'll scan some from my fairy tale wedding. We had ours in the Pavilion. I also did the wedding portrait package in the MK. We had to be there before the park opened. It was so cool to be the only ones there. Well worth the money and they pictures were great. Well, the background was :rotfl:

Well, I guess I should spend some time with the family. Geez, they act like they haven't seen me for days:rolleyes1 'Night

Thank You! The more I think about it 9-4 is just too long for the kids so I may end up changing it. The gold coins is a good idea!
