right now I envy your snow!!!
We could use a bit of the cold stuff.

However I use to live at the foot of Mt. Bachelor in Bend Oregon which is a huge ski resort, so I know what a winter of snow is like. One day I tried to open the door to get out and found about 3 foot of snow and couldnt get it open for a few hours!! That was scary since I was 9 months pregnant.


Jeff, sorry your in for the heat again tomarrow too!!

Geez Louise! Talk about a chatty bunch! It's HOT HOT HOT in Texas, let me tell ya! Finally got to the hotel and a vegging out with a brew (Complimentary Happy Hour ).

Thanks to all the gals for keeping tabs on the husband. He does get a little crazy when I'm not there. Honey? Please don't use the good scissors to run around with. And make sure you have on the underwear without holes and ... um ... free of "stains" . (Miss me, dontcha? )

Awww....I do miss you dear. Guido misses you too. I've accorded him a special privilage while you're away. He gets to sleep on your side of the bed EVERY night. Its so nice and cool here, I'll probably have FULL nights of sleep too. You just let your imagination run riot on all those statements.
But I PROMISE not to use the good scissors or run with holes or stains (that theres funny, I dont care who y'are). I better turn the comforter down now...its getting a little chilly here.

Morning everyone-
Itis hot here is NC, too but would never trade our climate for a snowy one so I'll not complain and just go inside and read my new passporter pages today. We requested PLAP Parrot, Luminere, Animator's as our rotation...we had it last year and since Parrot is our least favorite, we took one of those nights for Topsiders and went to Palo, too. Let me know what you are all palnnng since the big day is coming soon!!!!
Off to Walmart and car inspection today- such fun! Will check with you all later!

It's a cloudy, sprinkly day here in IL. I think it's supposed to warm right up to the upper 80s later. (I don't put too much faith in forecasts since they're wrong 50% of the time!)

Bill, how was the workout yesterday??? Hope you didn't get into any trouble there. . .

Jeff & fam -- have a great time in FL!!! I'm sure you'll check in a few times to keep us up to date.

Kim -- keep up the good work! We're all counting on you!!

Well, I sure am relieved to see that DD's Barbie pooper scooper isn't on the Mattel recall list!!!! (They actually make a Barbie set that has a dog that poops!!!! ) BTW, I didn't buy it for her!!! Maybe they'll introduce an incontinent dog like Guido. . . Bill, Shell, could be your ticket to Easy Street!!! Better market that idea!

Good morning! How is everyone today? I am excited because this weekend we are going to Myrtle Beach for one last thrill ride before school starts!!

Cool snow pictures!!! We don't see snow that much living on the coast. I wish we would get snow once or twice during the winter! I don't get the point of it being FREEZING if it doesn't snow

Well I'm off to go eat cinnamon muffins YUMMMMY!

That snow photo cooled me off for a second, but now it's just hot here again. I sure hope it doesn't look like that when we leave for our cruise. We usually don't get much of that stuff here until a month or so later. But you never know!

I love Myrtle Beach. We used to go there on our family vacations. Have a good time.

Living in New York for 26 years, I hated snow but now that I live in the desert I miss it. It snowed here last year and we were outside taking pictures we were so excited.

Our family was scheduled on the cancelled 2002 Eastern, too! What did you guys do??? We converted our DCL payment to the Poly and had an incredible time with Mickey's Magical Wishes. I figured that I got about $600 in spa treatments at the old Disney Institute...fabulous. This from a girl who had had only one pedicure in her life.

That was the trip that we discovered the magic of Narcoosee's! Sarah loves the smore's they serve with toasted marshmallows. This same trip we discovered that no one was in the World the week after Thanksgiving. I swear, we led all the parades waving like a bunch of fools. I love doing the princess wave!

I'll have to give you the WHOLE story while sailing.....it takes a while.....long story short.....I called DCL for a week making shure we weren't going to be cancelled. Wed. night we get a voice mail (as we were picking up ultered dresses) saying "your sailing has been cancelled and we are refunding all your money." I called instantly and said "that's not an option, we have a flight in 14 hours" they tell me to change it and they will pick up and fees. I then asked "do you know it is the night before Thanksgiving, what are the chances of getting a hold of anyone now?" Basically, they gave me 1/2 my $$$ back, paid for 3 nights prior to our sailing at the swan, included all park hoppers and paid for ALL our meals (magical wishes). Put us on the Wonder on Sunday and paid for 2 more nights at the Dolphin with park hoppers and ALL meals paid for, yes, Planet Hollywood, Rainforrest cafe, all included. They screwed up a LOT of things while we were there. I complained, finally got to the V.P. of DCL travel (my "girlfriend" who met with me Thursday at the Swan, gave me her personal private phone #) got half off our 03 Eastern sailing, double upgrade, free night at BC and free transfers. All after A LOT of letters and voice of my displeasure. Since then they go "out of their way" to make me happy (my "girlfriend" has me flagged)....just part of the story....

On the western before we were to sail they had a Norwak (sp?) virus outbreak and wanted to disenfect the ship. They wonder sailing was REALLY bad, couldn't get drinks at the drink station, couldn't help yourself at the buffett....like living in a bubble....

It was like that on our Wonder sailing in January 2006. I think they had problems the week before as well because they warned us about it when we got into port. I hadn't been on disney before and didn't realize that was not normal procedures.

I guess I'm glad they are so careful but that would really suck tho to have it canceled like that at the last minute!!
