Josh,
yes I know about the launch. I am going to step out on my patio to watch it go up. Much better than watching it on TV.:goodvibes
Thanks for the reminder.

Kathy

I was wondering how you would be able to see the launch from your patio!:goodvibes I wish i could come watch it with you!!:guilty: I hope you get a good view!!:rotfl:

my dad knows a site with info to where the ISS is

Wow, things sure have changed since I was in HS. ISS used to mean something TOTALLY different..............:lmao:

Tell me, what is everyone's fave thing to do after dinner and the show on the cruise?

My DH and I are worse than kids sometimes. We had lots of toys waiting for us in our room

I really enjoyed seeing your picture. Does anyone have other pictures of in room decorations they ordered?

Thanks for the offer Ron. I'm coordinating the late diners for linking. I did it last year and it worked out very well!

Yep. It worked out great last year. We weren't even officially linked but we got to sit nearby which was fun. We're early this year or we would be definitely linking again.

I have a question about linking dinner reservations...ok, probably several questions but you'll have to bear with me since this is my first cruise!!

There are five of us in our party with one child, age six. If we link reservations does that simply mean that we will be in the same dining room, on the same rotation, as the group? Or does that mean that we will all be seated together at the same table? I'm so confused!

Here's another question not related to dining-
The day we arrived back at the port we plan on having a car service pick us up and take us to one of the Disney resorts. We are going to stay and visit the parks until Tuesday, Dec. 4. The cruise materials says we arrive at 8:30 but what time will we actually be off the ship and ready to be picked up? I know, I know...rookie!!

If you link your reservations to others on the board you will most likey sit at the same table unless there are too many of us and I guess they will seat us all near each other:confused3 .

On my last cruise I was off the ship by 7:30am, we skipped breakfast. I guess it all depends on when the ship clears customs (which one never knows) and if you want to stay to have breakfast.

I hope that helps a little:banana:

Hey Kathy have a....

Here's an example. Last year, we had about 20 people linked (7 families, all ages). We were seated at 3 tables that were all next to each other. We all were on the same rotation, and we were always next to each other in the dining rooms. At one table, there was a family of 4. At another, there were 2 couples and a family of 3. At the 3rd table, there was 1 couple of 2 families of 3. And we were all close enough that we were able to interact with the other tables.

They won't split up your family of 5, but you may be at a table alone next to the others that you're linked with, or included in a table with 2 or 3 (or however many) others in the linked group.

Does that make sense?

In school suspension:rolleyes1

Ya know that last cruise it was just my DH and I so we kinda just chilled after dinner. He's not a big drinker or partier...I on the other hand love to drink and party just not by myself:sad2:. I have a feeling this cruise will be a little different

i am not a NASA hound!!! Ok maybe i am...

What night is everyone going to wear the "Nana-rific" shirts?

To everyone who has to miss the dinning room due to kids you can go to Topsiders. It serves the same food, but you don't have the long wait Its great!!
Yes i know that astronauts drink now RON!! I would love to see you go fly in outerspace!!:rotfl2:

I have to go eat dinner!! :moped: As they say in Italy "Chow"!!!!

Hey where are all the adults??????

I think Josh and Sarah need to start a teen Nana head board and see who has the most posts by the cruise. sorry Kathy I think they are gonna win..

You guys need to see the Tonya/Wendy shirt that Bill has created on the 08 thread.

Hey Shell, I wanna be on the list to you should add me Bob and Denise and Tonya as a gone but not forgotten on this cruise.

I don't know about the rest of you but I was starting to worry about overpacking my luggage for the trip back:confused: I know I haven't even gotten there yet. I am very careful with making sure my luggage is under 50lbs for the flight but I have no way of weighing my luggage on the last day since we will be getting off the ship, spending the day a Epcot and getting on a plane. Well, I have found a solution. I just ordered a travel luggage scale from amazon:cheer2: I am very excited. I should be here next week. I'll let you guys know how it works.

Just watched the shuttle from my patio. Now I will sit down and watch the replay on TV. It was a little cloudy but we still saw it ok.

Wendy, yes the teens are posting a lot, they are setting a good example for the parents.:thumbsup2

Speaking of parents, Josh, where has your dad been the past few days??
He needs to pop in pretty quick or I will have to get the whip warmed up:lmao:

well off to do dishes now that the shuttle has blasted off successfully.

Kathy
