Ok, Jeff and Cheri at the Hyatt, Dawn, Woo and us at the Radisson so far.

Ok who else knows where they are staying the night before??:confused3
Party will be at the Radisson, so if you havnt decided yet, come on over and visit with us.

Kathy

Gosh, maybe I should add where we're all staying the night before on the Cruisemate List so people can hook up. And yes, I tried like heck to sway Bill & Cheri to come to the Cape with us but to no avail. :sad1:

SHARON: Are you flying out of Cleveland or Akron? What kind of price did you get?

OK, I answered my own question and added Friday Night plans to the Cruisemate List. So if you want that listed, please post where you'll be so those who will be in the same area or hotel can hook up if they like.

Shell,
I think adding where everyone is staying to the cruise list is a great idea.:thumbsup2

For those who are still thinking about where they are going to be staying this may sway them to book the Radisson after they see all the "COOL" people who will be there.;)

Hi...just popping over to see whats happing over here....and I have to say its very depressing over here.....all this talk of hotels and ports and hookin up and hangin out is all very depressing to someone who wont be there....
So info for next year....the Radisson where is this? by the airport or the ship
port? If its by the ship....Shell what transporation are you using to get there? I have to start thinking ahead and need a little advice.

Thanks
Denise:banana:

Denise, the Radisson is at the Cape and has a free shuttle service to the port. I think we're going to rent a car and drive over to the cape on Friday and drop it off there, then get the DCL bus back to the airport. I'll post more on the '08.

Mornin everyone....
A promise is a promise....

What do you all think?

You guys didn't answer my questions from yesterday, did they show up?:rolleyes1 Help me, I'm so NEEDY

Well, I'm finally able to post...........I'm going to need to find a delicate way of telling my boss that he's interfering with my DIS time :lmao:

Glad the restuarant opening was successful for you :cheer2:

So, I understand the ship will be decorated for X-Mas while we are there. Do the Personal Navigators reflects Holiday Happenings or are they the same regardless?

Also, we will be flying into WDW on Thanksgiving and staying at the CBR. We really want to stay away from any traditional holiday meal. My mother especially is looking forward to this aspect of our trip. It will be the first T-Day Dinner she hasn't cooked in THIRTY FIVE years. Will places like Beaches N Cream, etc. still be open:confused3

Although I could walk through most of WDW property blind folded, I have never been over Thanksgiving and never cruised, so be kind:scared:

These questions.......We thought about staying elsewhere and renting a car, but we would always see the DCL bus when we were at WDW and be green with jealousy, so that's the how we are getting there

Wow you are very creative. Love the design...my only suggestion would be to remove the II because not all of us were with you guys last year:mad:

OK ... The Navigators are standard. To my knowledge, there are no holiday specific events. With the exception of gingerbread house making for kids and parents, if I remember correctly. Not sure about your other question ... sorry! Oh, and aren't bosses just the major PITAs? I mean really! What's more important ... DIS time or work? DUH!

I hope this helps answer some of the rest of your questions about restaurants at WDW.
They are so crowded that EVERY restaurant will be open.
They know many dont like turkey and others only turkey will do on thanksgiving.

My son use to work there and from that i base my information,.

If you want a sit down restaurant you will most likely need a reservation on thanksgiving. If you dont be prepared to wait along time!!

All the main restaurants will have their regular menu items and just add the turkey dinner to it as a special for the day, so you should have a good selection without having turkey.

I hope that helps some.

Kathy

Bill,

I love the shirt design but i have to agree for the newbies the II wont work.

How about removing the II,
then for those of us who are repeaters we could make some kind of a iron on design we could put on the back of our shirts or some small design to put on the front maybe near the upper right shoulder??

I know we can buy iron on transfer paper for the computer and print off the design on it and iron onto the shirts ourselves, if we just mail the design to each of the repeat people??

That would set us apart , yet we would still be all the group.
I t know some inks will run and fade when washed and dried, so we need to find the right ink for printing.

I dont think it would cost all of us much extra to do something like that to just our shirts??

Does all my ramblings make sense?? I hope so.

What do you repeat cruisers think??

Kathy

Bill,
I wa sjust thinking that next year we will have the same problem. Some of the people from last year will be their 2nd reunion cruise and then for those of us here it will be our 3rd, then there will be the new people.

Just so nobody gets left out we will need a basic shirt and then something to add ourselves for the 2 and 3rd cruisers.

So what ever we decide to do this year to set us apart we can maybe use next year for the 3 levels of crusiers.

Does that make sense??

I think a simple iron on design we can make ourselves on a computer and send out with the shirts would be the easiest thing to do.
we get the shirts early enough to add a design ourselves by ironing on a patch. I think even the dumbest of us can manage to put a iron on patch on a shirt.:rolleyes1

If you have a better idea ANYONE please speak up!!!:yay:

Now is the time to voice your opinions everyone!!

My daughter and grandkids LOVED the designs!! Especially the Monkey:thumbsup2

SHARON: Are you flying out of Cleveland or Akron? What kind of price did you get?

We are flying out of Cleveland Friday morning on Continental. It's the 9:20 flight. I had been watching the fares and they were at $212 RT and then one evening this week it dropped to $172 so I booked it. It will probably go lower but figured I would go ahead and book it so it's one less thing I need to do! I need to talk to my sister to see what she's doing about flights although they may use frequent flyer miles for theirs.

If we all end up flying out together maybe we could share a limo service to the cape! Depending on how many of us there are, we may need to get a van or bus! Keep me posted on your flights.

No problem on the two. The 2007 - 2008 will set them apart and I'm exploring other options for the return nanas. I'll submit the new one and work on the vets design, see what everyone thinks.
