Kathy, thanks so much for your report. I have heard the same things from a lot of people about the service on Carnival and Princess. Our service on RCCL was great...not at good as Disney but still great. I think I will stick to them. Maybe Disney will go back to Europe in 2010.

Did Guido have a birthday party?! A woman I used to work with has a dog party every year for her dog's birthday. She sends invitations to other dog owners and each dog gets a party hat to wear, a goody bag, and they run around the back yard playing.

We tried to figure away to ship him home to you, but no post office near by.

Kathy--great report--Thanks!! Did they really just leave those 8 people behind??? I know the last 2 times we were on DCL they waited until the last person was on the ship--they paged for them MANY times-but they waited

Well, Kathy's trip report seals it for me....DISNEY IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!! I really prefer my room to be cleaned before I use it...hairy sheets--eww .

My nephew is still in the hospital...I saw his surgeon today who said in all the 10 years she has been operating--he wins the gold star for the worst Appendicitis she has ever seen --not a gold star I would want to win!!

Oh yes we have seen an ABC store or more like it - a half dozen of em. And we spent some time in the one at the Shops at Wailea last night.

Today was our last full day at the Kea Lani and we splurged on a cabana rental at the pool. It was pretty fun to have it. Lots of swimming, swim up barring, water sliding, beach playing, wave jumping, football tossing and all around fun. Thinking about dinner now..think we are going to stay on site at the hotel and hit the great italian place for the 2nd time.

Tomorrow we have to pack up the car like the Beverly Hillbillies and head to the Hyatt on the west side of the island.

Great job on the report Kathy. Thanks for sharing and confirming that it's Disney or nothing for our family when cruising.

Morning all,
yes Okie they did leave 8 people behind.
We waited 30 minutes and saw one man get on just as we left but CM's said we did leave 8 people behind. All the same family group. They probably went somewhere on their own and couldnt get back in time.

They were having a big celebration when we arrived for their independence day so they had major traffic problems!!

It was a real eye opener for us. I do believe that other Carnival ships may offer a much better experience, just not the Glory. Of course it depends on what you are looking for in a cruise.

If all you wanted to so was drink and gamble then this is the cruise for you.

If you want a fun atmosphere, options for fun things to do, friendly people to greet you, a nice attentative wait staff, talented entertainers with their clothes on and lots of cute mascotts, and dont want to spend 1/2 the day getting off the ship, then Disney is for you.

Well, it's official I have started my cruise diet . In 2005 I had lost 20 lbs right before my cruise. It somehow all came back So, as of today I am starting again. If I don't lose 20 lbs I will have to buy an entirly new cruise wardrobe in a much bigger size and that doesn't make me happy. Anyone else starting a diet for the cruise? I even added a weight lose countdown to my signature so everyone can yell at me when they see it going up instead of down.
