Key West-

We woke up and we were all feeling better. We opened the door to the veranda and the weather was glorius. We had breakfast at Topsiders joining my husband's sister and brother. The in-laws being early risers had breakfast earlier. We all thought the buffet was fine. Nothing too exciting. But hey I wasn't cooking that is always a good thing!

We all went on the DCL excursion --trolley tour, tickets to the aquarium and shipwreck museum... The weather was perfect. Sunny with a nice breeze. We went on the trolley tour and the guide was informative and funny. She gave all the kids a "gold" coin and my two boys thought this was fabulous. The called their treasure.

After the tour, we ate lunch at an open air restaurant across from where we exited the trolley. I can't recall the name but the food was fairly good. We all had sandwiches or hot dogs. We then went across the street and checked out the aquarium. Very cute and really perfect for my age children. It was also good for my in-laws because they are senior citizens and my MIL is handicapped. So, not alot of walking.

After the aquarium my in-laws went back to rest. We (my DH and DS, DS) and my BIL and SIL went over to the shipwreck museum. They do a cute "show" and then you can explore the museum and then climb the tower and have a great view of KW.
We enjoyed this and we all headed back to the ship to get ready for dinner.

After enjoying our day, we were getting ready when my liitle one (2) started to vomit. OH NO!!!!! I called guest services to let them know of our situation which was asked by them. They were very kind and asked if we wanted to take him to med. services. I said let's see if he has another episode. Well, I called the rest of our party to tell them to go ahead to dinner while we figure out what we are going to do. My DH stayed in the cabin with DS2 and I took my eldest to Animator's Palette. The servers allowed me to order from the menu for my DH so he could have dinner. We missed the "show" because my son was literally falling asleep at the table so I asked my BIL to carry the food and I carried my son to the cabin. My youngest had not have another episode that night and guest services called to check up on us. They told to alert housekeeping so they could "double sanitize" the room the next morning. At this point, my eldest son is wide awake and begging to see Morty. So, I gave my husband the option to go and he decided to eat his dinner and rest with our little one. We met the grandparents for the show. It was very well done. I thought it was great. My DS got a big kick out of it and thought the trading card was cool. After the show we went to the cabin and all got some rest.

I was reading and enjoying and then OH NO!! I feel your pain. Would the aquarium and museum be interesting at all to a 9 yo and 2-11 yo boys?

It is a very small place...not like a sea world...it's one large room and then at the end are outdoor tanks with sharks. They probably would like the "shark feeding." It is really inexpensive and has a very nostalgic tourist place feel to it.

Oh no, not a sick little one. I'm glad he didn't continue to be sick during the night.

Thanks for posting this.
