Thanks for the concern everybody! Just with the economy right now, I was just checking out the options. Work is VERY slow and I get norvous about things. I seriously doubt we would cancel, especially now that we are in the penalty phase. But I really appreciate everybody's concerns

On to more serious things, we always dress up for pirate night. We don't go overboard (no pun intended), but we will wear something.

Very relieved to hear you're still onboard (no pun intended - or was there?) We'll make it through this hard patch. I am so tempted to go online and see what kind of a beating my 401K has taken but what good will that do? Just make me depressed. We'll rebound out of it!

I'm starting to think about what we could wear for Pirate night. I don't think DS will participate but I may be able to talk DH into it. I'll definitely do it!

Gotta go watch the VP debate. This should be good!

OK YA'LL---NOW IT IS REALLY TIME TO PULL OUT THE BIG GUNS, GRAB TINK AND ALL OF HER FAIRY FRIENDS AND CALL ON THE "BIG GUY" AND HIS FRIENDS---------------WE JUST GOT HOME FROM HAVING KENNA IN THE HOSPITAL!!!!!!

not only have we had to deal with the roof issue---we got 5 inches of rain on Saturday night. No wonder the roof leaked. Kenna started running a fever Sunday night/Monday morning. The highest it got was 104.2. Then the vomiting started. AS much as I tried to keep her home and hydrated, it didn't work. So she got admitted with IV fluids. We just got home.

I am so tired of spending all of my extra time at the hospital, esp the one that we work at. I feel that I'm there enough let alone my family and I being there as patients. We no longer get paychecks, they give them to us and we just hand them back to pay the bills, and once we get them paid, then someone has to be in again.

At this rate, I may get a tour of the medical center on board. Maybe I should go there when I get on board and offer my services in exchange for medical care!!!

The mouse definately needs to come thru for us.

Judy--You keep us in stitches with all of your happenings in PA, and I'm keeping the gang in tears.

We have 49 days until we leave. I think I'm going to find some garlic for around our necks.

Our gang is joining you. For my immediate family this mne and Dh 10th DCL cruise and 4th Thanksgiving. It is our dd 7 DCL cruise.

Our group is

Edith (this is her 25 DCL cruise) and Tracy (her DD) Deck 2
Tommy (Edith's son) DW (Sarh) DD (Erma-4) Deck 2

We are all very excited to be joining you. We have several friends that are crew members and talked to them as they were sailing back to PC from drydock. We cannot wait to see all the great new stuff they told us about.

We are going to a very big Disney sale tomorrow so we want to start shopping if we can be added.

Wow - you guys are experienced DCL cruisers! Were you on the Wonder Thanksgiving 4 day in 05 by any chance? As far as the FE goes, it's not up to me either but I say hang it out and see what happens!

LORA- I am sending as much Pixie dust and happy thoughts and prayers to you as I can find.
Please tell Kenna we're hoping and praying she feels better soon! Remind her she'll be having a great time with her new friends in 49 days! You guys really need this vacation!

I do have good news. I went to my MD on Tuesday and was officially weighed. I'm down 54 pounds since Feb!!! WOO HOO!!! Now instead of looking like a humpback whale sitting by the pool, I'll look like a smaller gray whale! Since the trip is so close, now I'm really serious about being good! I've upped my walking and am not eating anything that tastes good. This is war!!! (I couldn't wait to post that banner!!) He also cut my BP medicine in half again. He may pull me off completely next month!

No we were on the 7 day in 2005. We actually have never done any of the short ones.

My good friend and co-worker Harry is leaving today for Myrtle Beach. I can't wait to fly south. It's cold (brrrrr) up here. Lows in the 40's and highs in the 50's. There are actually people walking around saying "Isn't the weather beautiful today?" Yeah, if you're a penguin.

DS12 (3 weeks shy of 13 on the cruise) read in some old Navigators that the 10-12 year olds used to go to The Stack at certain times when the teens weren't there. Now that they've changed the age groups, he was wondering if they still do that. Do you know?

They used to be able to just be in the stack as if they reached the age already. But I do not want to tell you for sure. However, one of our friends used to be the Stack Manager and now he has one of those fancy white uniforms. I will email him and ask. they do not check email a lot so it may take awhile for the answer. But it will be as official as one can get.
