I believe they premiere on the ship the same time they do on land. The only difference is the ticket on land is $8, we are paying $3000 (but the popcorn is free).

What a bargain! Here's the second part to my question - Is it shown in the theater or on the screen by the pool?

The first run movies were only in the theater on the Wonder when we went.

The Walt theater.

My DD13 is hoping they show High School Musical 3. She'd never darken the door of the theater in town to see it, but she says it be "cool" to see it on the ship. I think it's part of that "what happens in Disney, stays in Disney" thing. :confused3

We did the margarita tasting on our last 7 night cruise, and my DH was practically wasted from it.:lmao: Of course, he drank his, mine, and several others that were at the table. Steph (imsomaha) can tell you--it's true! I didn't like drinking tequila at all, but my DH wanted to get his money's worth.:rotfl:

She is telling the truth - :rotfl: :rotfl: Brian wanted his money's worth, but what he doesn't remember is the good laugh we had at his expense!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks for the answers! So first runs are in the theatre and other stuff is at the pool.
Stillers are winning 3-0. We look good tonight - (not like that miserable game against Philly).

I was thinking tonight how fast the month of September went! And if October goes just as fast we'll be sailing before we know it!

On our last cruise, National Treasure 2, prem"ear"ed on our cruise. They showed it at midnight the day it came out and several other times. I really wish they had real popcorn onboard instead of the bagged stuff, but there's nothing better than watching a movie in your jammies. popcorn::

HerQSmee--I have the ears pattern somewhere on my computer, I'll try to find it. I don't have the other stuff though.

DH and I have been working on naming the baby. You can vote here: http://www.babynames.com/namelist/9657262
Stacie, do you really wear your pj's to the theater on the ship? ;)

Judy, I just got up and read about the Steelers winning. I can't believe it, I went to bed at halftime and it was pretty ugly for awhile. Anyway, they pulled it, yea!!! :cool1: :yay: :woohoo:

I just thought of something. When I wake up tomorrow, I can say "I am going on a Disney Cruise next month"!:cool1:

Oh! That sounds so nice. My friends who are going on the cruise with us are currently on the Magic. So I'm not as jealous knowing we'll be there with them soon.

Our last two cruises I have. One was Chronicles of Narnia that started at 11:00PM and was like three hours long and the last time, National Teasure 2started at 11:00PM too. I'm always cold in there so I wore my pj pants and a sweatshirt. There were other people that had brought the blankets and pillows from their rooms. It kind of felt like a big slumber party. :)

Just when I thought I was finally about done shopping for this trip you go and throw out the whole jammies thing. Guess I'll have to have new pj's now.:rotfl:

I thought I was prepared and organized...

Well, today was the day the three of us went to apply for our passports. I had my expanding folder with all the forms that I filled out online and printed out, all six pictures, our birth certificates, driver's licenses, and check book in hand when we walked into the office. I thought the clerk would be totally impressed with how organized I was. Then her supervisor comes over and says, Sandra this is not a birth certificate. What?! :scared1: I have used it for everything I've ever needed a birth certificate for for the last 37 years. It has a raised seal and is the only official paper my mom ever had for me. I couldn't believe it.

Here it is less than 8 weeks before the cruise and I don't even own a certified copy of my birth certificate.

I called a number they gave me at the passport office It was going to cost $70 and take 10-14 days. I thought that was crazy so I went online and found out I could get it for $52, but it was still going to take more than 10 days. We had lunch with the in-laws and MIL told me to try calling the town clerk, in the little town where I was born. The clerk (who btw turned out to be the mother of a boy I had a crush on in 1st grade) told me to express mail her a letter requesting the BC and she would walk it across the street to the post office as soon as she printed it out. I guess it pays to be born in a small town. I'm still a little freaked about about getting my passport in time though. I will be at the post office as soon as I drop DS off at school tomorrw. Do they sell money orders at the post office? I hope so.

WOW!!! That is crazy! If it's not a birth certificate, what is it?
I know if you're in the town you're born in it's easy to get a replacement. DH needed one for our last cruise. (He never had one. I think his parents threw it away or something!). We went to the city-county bldg and they looked it up and got it for him right away. Same thing with our marriage license. I think I threw that away - by mistake of course!:lmao: I can tell you once we applied for the passports this spring, they were back to us in 9 days. Don't panic. You'll have plenty of time. And what ever happened to your crush - her son? Is he handsome and successful?! The post office does sell money orders but they charge a couple of bucks for them. If you have AAA I think they're free (if you have the time).

Stacie - I'll have to buy new PJ's as well! Big slumber party! Popcorn and Junior Mints.

I took my dog to the chiropractor this evening. Lex pulled his left rear leg out of whack and he's putting it back in place. It's amazing to watch the process. He works on dogs every Tuesday evening and there's always a parade of different dogs coming and going. He has one really huge fat cat he adjusts also. And he doesn't charge. He does it because he loves animals.:dogdance: :dog2: :dog:

Sandy,

I gotta hear what they decided that piece of paper you brought in. I agree with Judy, if not a birth certificate, then what is it? I hope there is not an expiration date on their somewhere.

I'm not telling DD but the lady doing the live report from this week's double dip is reporting that the kids club ages are now 8-10 for the lab, and 10-13 Ocean Quest. I don't know if that means the Stack is only for 14+ or not. I asked for more specifics, we'll she what she has to say. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=27903600&posted=1#post27903600

She is also reporting that the dining rotations are ABBCCAB which is different than the regular western and what DCL told me.
