First of all congrats SUPERS!!!

NOW WHOEVER is putting pins in the voodoo dolls against all of us turkeys needs to stop! I can't remember whose DH got hurt and has the broken clavicle, but God Bless you guys.

From the previous couple of posts, you saw that I was in the hospital for 3 days with migraines. Thanks for the cheering up everyone. I really needed it and it was wonderful to know we have friends that we've never met.

Anyway, I came home on Friday, got to Dis a little and rest some.AND THEN--Sunday, Mackenzie our 8yo developed horrible abdominal pain The same pain that I have seen over and over in my 20 years of nursing and 2 times already with her. We drove to the hospital where Bob and I both work 40 minutes from home with her writhing in pain and begging for an IV and Medicine. SHE PAST HER 3RD KIDNEY STONE since August. She was admitted to the hospital and we just got home.

2 hospital admissions in less than a week. Bob told his boss that he needed to come to work to see his family, and with the price of gas and our 40 minute drive each way that it was cheaper to get a hospital room. HAHA

Poor McKenna (2) just doesn't know what to do. She has been pushed around and doesn't know where she is spending the night.

SO LETS PROCLAIM---NO MORE ILLNESSES OR INJURIES TO THE TRAVELLING TURKEYS, UNTIL AFTER WE HAVE LOBSTER DINNER!!!

Lora
:grouphug: My goodness Lora, I knew about your migraines, but I didn't know you were in the hospital for them. I guess I missed that somehow. And poor Mackenzie, I feel so bad for her. I hope you're both feeling better now.

Lexandme

GO PENS!!! We are fans.

Bob and Lora

My thoughts are with you and your little one. Let her know that Mickey and all of her Pals hope she feels better real soon. :flower3: Let's hope this is the last of it!
I spent 2 days last week in WV. Had environmental training for HUD in Weston. West Virginia is a beautiful state.
Wasn't the Pen's loss to Detroit heartbreaking? I wanted our kids to win so bad. Next Year! :dance3:

I agree with this no more you guys. I feel so bad for all the pain and suffering. I hope I don't get my self all worked up and break out in a rach. Ewwe.:headache:
I hope you are all on the mend and getting excited for our trip. I am looking forward to spending the holidays with my new friends. :dance3:

Lora,

Just wanted to check in and see how Mckenzie is doing. Is she feeling better? Home yet? Can the Doc just blast kidney stones with a laser to break them up?
Take it easy and things will get better! :smickey:

I demand that everybody stop getting hurt/sick! Enough is enough! The 120 day mark is around the corner and everybody needs to be WELL!:thumbsup2

You're right. From now on everyone watch where you walk, look both ways before crossing, don't play with farm machinery, wash your hands with soap and water while you sing Happy Birthday 3 times, don't get stressed, know your triggers to avoid headaches/migraines, take all medicine as prescribed and don't play with others if they are sick!

I was reading old posts again today. Are we going to do the fish extender?

Seadooken,
Do Fl residents get big discounts on DCL?
That would be a great reason to relocate! You could cut out the airfare too!

Ahh gee, there goes my weekend. :rotfl2: Actually, we're going to Pleasure Island to say goodbye to the Adventurer's Club. :sad1:

FL resident discounts are only available last minute on certain cruises, and never are that big. But it is nice to just drive over and skip the airfare.

My heart is breaking! Please say goodbye for me as I won't be back to WDW by Saptember.
KUNGALOOSH!!!!!!!!!! :drinking1

I'll drink one in your honor. But just one, otherwise I'll have a repeat of my bachelorette party (from what I've been told.)

We have always re-booked while onboard, so I really don't know. Being 1 1/2 hours from the port is nice!

Awww, go ahead. Take one for the team. You may never get the chance again...
Marching along, we're Adventurers.
Singing a song of Adventurers.
Up or down,
North, South, East or West,
An Adventurers life is best!
An Adventurer's life is best!
Kungaloosh!

(As I wipe the tears from my eyes.)

Goodbye to the Adventurers CLub???? i have not been there in YEARS, are they getting rid of it?

All of Pleasure Island is being revamped into more shops and restaurants. So all the clubs are going away. No more 8 Trax, no more revolving dance floor at Mannequins. :sad1:

Disney is closing every club on Pleasure Island on September 27. When they changed the admission policy from hard ticket to all access with clubs requiring admission a few years back the area began to attract street parties and it became a local teen hangout. Many tourists felt uncomfortable and Disney decided to make a change. They are turning PI into another shopping area with more stores and restaurants. Personally I think it's a big mistake and they should have reinstated the hard ticket but who am I?

Does anybody out there use Passporter? I bought one and am enjoying it. But then again I enjoy anything Disney. ::MickeyMo

Just went to DCL website. They have cat. 5, 6, 8, 9 and 11 staterooms available.

Wasn't it just a week or so ago that someone posted that the cruise was sold out??? I wonder how many more will cancel as we get close to the 90 day mark. I have to admit that spending this amount of money when things are getting tighter every day seems a bit irresponsible, but if we decided to cancel, we would have a teen mutiny in our house.

Does anyone else plan to dress up for pirate night? As you can probably guess, we will be. DS(then 16) will get the Capt Jack Sparrow costume that DH wore last cruise. DH is making a Barbossa costume, but he hired a seamstress to make the vest and coat. She called earlier this week to ask a question and say that it is almost finished. She is also making DD a costume, just not as elaborate. We'll be able to pick them up on Saturday. I have to admit that I am rather excited to see it all come together. DH is meticulous with the details. We'll have a whole suit case for costume pieces. (Hopefully it will all fit in one large suitcase.) He'll be wearing/carrying his Barbossa hat on the plane because it just won't work to pack it. I'll be wearing the same costume; at least I don't think I've outgrown mine. :rolleyes1
