Glad to see our thread still exsists. My December 2007 cruise thread is in hiding even though we had no where close to 10,000 posts.

Getting a tax rebate before cruise time sounds great. Our change jar doesn't seem to be filling up near as fast as before. Maybe it has something to do with paying for the last cruise and Christmas. :confused3

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Both of the older kids have school activities (at different times) tomorrow so the whole day is kind of shot. Only two more weeks of basketball, jazz band, and show choir. Next weekend is our big invitational swim meet, then only two more meets of that. Spring break will be here before we know it. DD wants to go to Nebraska to see her best friend that moved away but she doesn't have a Spring break, just time off for Easter.

We're still trying to figure out how to be stowaways on Susan's cruise. Anyone have big plans for Spring Break? Do you Jerseyites get Spring Break or is Jersey Week your week off of school?

We spent last night marking on the calendars all the dates we need to know, like when we can book Palo's and Flounder's (which means that's the day we have to pay by.) Just saying 90-days out means nothing unless it's marked in a big red blotch on the calendar.

Okay...thought I was on top of things....
but I have no idea what CI&S is?????:confused3

Country Inn and Suites, it's a hotel at the port.

Make sure that you are paid in full a couple days before the 90 day mark, so the payment has time to process. I saw a thread a while back about someone who thought they were paid, but they couldn't make the ressies for a few days after.

Thanks for the tip.

Does everyone have their passports already? We haven't needed them until this cruise. I want to wait until the weather warms up a bit down here and I start going to the beach again. I would like to not be so ghostly white in a photo I'm going to have for a long time.

We get a Spring Break in addition to our Jersey Week (teacher convention).

We have our passports. Andy had his photo taken when he was 5 weeks old. This past cruise everyone that saw it commented he looks nothing like his picture, it's still good for another 4 years. My parents have to get theirs yet. My mom is adopted so her name now doesn't match her birth certificate. I don't know what we'll have to do with that. I know there is a spot on the passport form about if you were known by any other name. I guress we'll bring the birth certificate and the adoption papers.

We just went Thursday to get passports for the girls. We did ours in stages so it wasn't a big hit at once. Plus, we wanted the baby's passport to somewhat resemble her by the time we sail. They change so fast at this age.

Okay, Stacie, I'm sure there's still room on the ship for you guys to join us in Hawaii! Do you think you can talk Kevin in to it?:goodvibes

We also have our passports. We got them a couple of summers ago so we'd have them for our spring break cruise last year. I'm glad that expense is out of the way! We also bought our airfare for this cruise a few weeks ago. I think I should change my name from disneypoor to just plain old "vacation broke"!:rotfl:

Hi guys- can I join this thread a little late? We will be on the T-day cruise (our first one ever!!!) and celebrating our 10th anniversary. DS8 & DD4 are so excited!

I have no idea what to expect- can anyone recommend a good book? Is the Passporter for DCl a good resource?

Welcome Kim!!

The Passporter Guide is a great book, I buy a new one every year. The DIS boards are the best though because you get the info straight from people that have cruised before.

:welcome: Welcome Sinderelli Family!! I second the recommendation for the Passporter! I believe the latest version is due out soon...There are alot or cruise repeaters so let the questions begin!!

I went to my friends DCL party last night! It was a blast! I was alittle jealous that they cruise in April and we still have a bit of a wait....but they were just as jealous that WE:grouphug: get to go to CC twice!!:goodvibes

New additions to our group!! My SIL's family backed out (Nephews are in college and they weren't interested) BUT...I am excited to say that my FFE (first friend ever!!) and her family will be joining us!! (Jen and I grew up in ajoining row houses in Phila. and were inseperable from birth until age 13 when both of our families moved) Although we talk once a year or so....I am totally psyched that our families will be sharing this awesome adventure!!

I haven't introduced her to the DIS yet....I'm already freaking her out with my OVPD (obsessive vacation planning disorder;) ) I figure I'll break her in slowly!!:rolleyes1

Now that I think about it, isn't that when the balance is due. So it should be on my confirmation letter, right?

Wow! Four whole days without anyone posting to our thread. Everyone must be busy getting ready for tomorrow's big game ;)
