My regular camera is a Nikon, coolpix 8700 and I also have a Sony 240GB High Def Handycam Camcorder.

4 more work days and we Fly to California!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vacations with lots of "steps" are fun, but also a LOT of work to prep for!!!

Since I am being lazy, one of the FE folks had an updated stateroom #, and I forgot to write it down... Who was it and what is the new #?

DH said this morning or should I say he was rubbin it in that after today he has four more days a work. Lucky bumb. He had to take two full weeks off full the trip. They would not let him split it up. But it's all good cause we have doctor appointments monday. lol and then Tuesday and Wednesday he will be making sure everything is clean and packed and ready to go on Thursday.

I have got to finish the one FE gift that I almost forgot about. Granny and I made something a little different for FE gifts I'm so excited about this. Well better run before I spill the beans. Later all

DH usually wears his suit to Palo. Except for Brunch when he weart either a polo shirt or a short sleeve Hawaiian print type shirt.

My DH doesn't even own a suit or tie. Never will I'm sure. He'll be going to Palo in a nice silk Tommy Bahama shirt and khakis.

Is anyone else watching Disney movies constantly? I've been watching "Haunted Mansion" and "Enchanted" a few times a day EVERY DAY for weeks now. Well, I listen to them more than watching while I paint. I think they should make Gizelle from Enchanted one of the official princesses!

If you haven't done it already - go to IMBD.com and search the movies for Enchanted. Pull up the Enchanted page and go to the trivia section. I was amazed at learning all the "hidden Disney's" in the movie. Like the women who voiced Belle and Ariel had acting parts. I love learning the trivia on movies like that.

I keep having a scary vision of my adult son going to the beach in swim shorts and boots. My DIL and I will just die.

My neighbor mows his lawn in cowboy boots, jeans tucked into them and no shirt. It's pretty gross actually.

I worked on our on-line check for AKV and our cruise tonight too. I think we're just about done with all the plans.

Cirque du Soleil had a 30% discount for FL residents, DVC & AP holders so I splurged and purchased tickets for next week, $58.85 per adult, cat. 2 seats. Much nicer than full price.

Sorry for joining this thread at the last minute, but we will also be on this cruise!! I think I may have posted a long time ago but it's been awhile! Anyway, we are in 2 of the secret porthole rooms 5524 and 5522. Here's our list of cruisers:

5524: me (Alyssa) and boyfriend Jake from Florida
5522: Jake's mom (Carol), sister (Michelle), and brother-in-law (Pat) from Maryland and New Jersey

This is the FIRST cruise ever for everyone in room 5522 and we are celebrating Carol's 50th birthday on November 18 (same birthday as Mickey Mouse!) We're calling this our "WONDERful 5-0 Cruise." We'd love to participate in the FE if it's not too late (what page has all the info for everyone??) and if you're near our side of the ship, feel free to leave a bday message to Carol on the dry-erase board for 5522!

Congrats on your BF's mom's 50th BD.

Our FE cut off date was a month ago. Some of the partipants have already left their homes and some are just about to leave as well as serveral other are just about to so I'm sure some might not be able to get anything at late notice. My gift require actual time to make (Which I can't say why for or people will figure it out if they haven't already ) so I can't make any more. But I can't speak for everyone. Maybe a few might still be able to.

I'm having the same problem...only 3 more workdays! I keep thinking about stuff to pack etc.

I gave up trying to get the H1N1 vaccine since I'm still coughing from the bronchitis I picked up last month.

Have a safe journey to CA and back to FL.

I got my 2 boys the regular flu shots. that's the best I could do. Hubby's work (3M) was supposed to have a flu shot clinic on site. He tends to blow these off shame on him. If the shot came right TO ME, I'd take it. LOL

OH! BTW, my youngest turned 2 yesterday!!!! It was his golden birthday. What a crummy age to have it but hey. I was just doing all I could to not have him on Halloween! LOL Mine golden BD was at 7 and I distinctly remember my parents not doing anything special. In fact it was even less than normal. MY oldest though will have his when he's 18. THAT will be awesome for him! I hope we can afford a cheapo used car for him then.

I'm always amazed that something I grew up knowing and everybody I know knows. I wonder where the root of it lies. I looked it up on Wikipedia and it didn't say were it came from, just what it was. It is the birthday where the date's number and your age are the same. So for Daniel, he was 2 on the 2nd. I was 7 on the 7th. My oldest will have his when he's 18 on April 18th. Etc.

Wow.... I've never heard of it. Neither of my co-workers had every heard of it either.
Maybe its a regional thing? Like Sweetest day. (I just heard about THAT one this year!)


New England is Borning I guess. I don't think we have any special holidays or celebrations.
