FYI. I posted a note in the Nov 1 and 8th Wonder cruises asking for scans of the Navigators. Hopefully getting the scans to better plan ahead for our own 4 night cruise. If I get any takers I'll be sure to make them available to you all too.

Guarantee. So if you book a room at whatever category, you are guaranteed to get that level (or better?). YES? I didn't book on any GTYs but I know some did. They'll know the scoop. I know there is some benefit to it. I just don't know what.

Feenie How is the kitty doing??


Oh I'm so excited today. The family members that have been living with us for the last 7 months have finally left. Think I'm excite or what. Guess I should say that my sister in law was not to bad until the end, but my 21 nephew in law was a lazy pain in the rear.!!!


So DH is sick with the cough... Hope he gets better soon. DD 11 has been complaining about her throat hurting... GGGRRRR Hope she is good to go to school today....

Daisy is doing ok. She had more fluid drained yesterday and the vet did and ECG. Now we just have to wait for results. I hate waiting.
We work in a hospital, so we are used to knowing the results of stuff the same day, so this waiting stinks.

Tonight we are laying out our suitcases and taking all of the things from our Florida drawer and putting them in our spare bedroom so we can start thinking about packing.
Its a process when you have so many legs to a trip. We are hoping to have one suitcase that we don't open until we get on the ship.

Okay I have finally finished both fish extenders, well apart from the wooden rod at the top which is easy to insert. I have been working on these for quite a while. They are both made from felt squares, the first one has sea creatures hand sewn and padded on each pocket and the second has just cut out (this was so tricky as some things were so small, I had to use nail scissors) and glued on sea creatures. I haven't used my sewing machine in 6 years so they look a bit messy. I will post a photo if you all promise not to laugh

Heck - I'll admire anyone making an attempt for their FE. To be honest I am just planning on using Christmas Stockings. I know my wife is busy enough trying to pack up everything, get over her bronchitis and keep the kiddies happy.

My studio floor is chaos w/ all the stuff spread here and there for making the FE and door decorations. It's a serious mine-field down here!

I know my wife is busy enough trying to pack up everything, get over her bronchitis and keep the kiddies happy.

What a BUMMER! People and kids are dropping like flies! I hope we all get it out of our systems NOW and can be healthy for the trip! I just had to make appointments for the next month w/ my youngest son's teacher and physical therapist and was actually able to say I was going to be gone shortly! I never leave the house it seems. No vacation in 3 years. It felt SOOOO good to have plans! SOON!

This was my very first attempt at a FE, it took so long and the stitching isn't great but the kids liked it which is the main thing

So after I had made the kids FE I really didn't feel like making another one but knew I had to so to make it easier I just glued all the cut out shapes on. Now my kids have claimed this one as they like it better. I will be putting their names above the pockets with stick on pre-cut felt letters.

Your Fish Extenders are so cute!!!

No one will be laughing at them! No worries there!

Just a tip for anyone who has never done this before, we use a zip tie to help secure our extender to our fish. I would hate to have someone swipe it just because they "could".

I know Home Depot sells the zip ties next to the electical outlet boxes. They come in various sizes. I bought the 14inch pack. If it ain't long enough then you can just daisy chain them together too.

I love your FE!!!!!! It's so cute. I'm telling you all I'm not crafty at all. I will more then likely find iron ons. lol. I have been talking with Granny (mymom) and her and I are going shopping Saturday to make some FE!!! This should be a funny site. lol., but it will be fun to shop with granny!!!

I love the idea of zip ties. I will have to add it to the list.

I'm excited and just had to share this. Our travel Agent is coming to my house to meet everyone on Monday night. I hope our documents are in by then. (Ihave a feeling they wont), but anyway it will be fun. Then after that we celebrating Pudgy's birthday.

So what's everyones plans this weekend. Anyone doing anything? We are moving my sister in law and her son into their apartment Do I seem excited?? lol

plans for weekend are to try and clean up the garage from the garage sale that never happened. oye

Maybe pull our Christmas stuff to find hats and stockings to take on the cruise. Hats for us to wear (maybe castaway cay) for a Christmas picture. Then the stockings for our FE.

We also might try to make some Tie Dye shirts with a Mickey head in the middle to wear on the cruise.

Sadly, no plans. DH is working both days and 12 hours each day.
