Heck if there was a 50% discount, I would be doing annual Disney cruises! I am so happy to hear how you guys are describing the sideways category 11, I think it will be great for our family. We really only sleep and shower in the cabin anyways!

I had already decided that if I didn't get upgraded I was going to pay to upgrade to a sideways room. They sound wonderful.

I read in a earlier post about when Pirate night will be. I know usually it is on Wed, Cozumel night, but it is Pirate Week in the Caymans when we are there so maybe it will be changed to Tuesday for us?

FYI --Shuttle Atlantis is still scheduled to lauch 11/12-hoping for a 2 day delay!

We are over the top busy with my son leaving on a mission for our church for 2 years. He leaves 2 weeks before we leave and life is focused on that!

Isn't it nice you have the cruise to look forward to after he goes - to ease the pain of missing him!

I am not so sure there are any left - I looked yesterday and I could not get any room numbers for cat 11's. There are not very many of them and I think maybe only on decks 5 and 6.

Hi Everyone,
So...is today the cut off for FE? I can't box everything up yet if we are keeping it open...the stuff everywhere is driving me nuts!

I too am packing a little. Ok, fess up, who has started filling suitcases? I am still on the hunt for shoes for formal night, and dresses for the girls.

Has anyone received their docs yet? I think they may start arriving soon don't you think?

My suitcase is out! I had to get some things out of my closet! So far there isn't much in it, however. I will also be glad to get the FE gifts packed and out of the way.

I have packed the over-the door shoe holder/organizer and the electric power strip that we do not travel without. For those that haven't tried it, the shoe organizer hangs on the outside of the bathroom door and keeps things off of the flat surfaces reducing clutter and also makes things easy to find. For instance: suntan lotion, hair brushes, playing cards, room keys, change, wine opener, etc.

Anyone else have some "must haves" to help out our first time cruisers?

No cruise documents yet.

Beautiful weather here in Texas, but not as nice as on a little island I plan to visit twice next month!

1. Night light (the kind that just glows blueish)
2. Dollar bills for tipping room service (love waking up to hot coffee)
3. Shoe Organizer which I hang on the bathroom door.
More for keeping things off limited counter space and away from son.
( Small kids can climb on the toilets and reach almost anything!)
4. Powerstrip (makes our own charging station)
5. Highlighter, pen, and little notebook ( for my navigator and notes)

I have been watching the sideways cat 11s for months and as of today 6015 and 6521 were still available. 6515 may have been available as well, but I can't remember for sure.

I would love to see the shuttle launch but I dont know if that will be good for people traveling to the port that Saturday. From what I have heard 528 becomes a mess and actually shuts down due to the traffic of people wanting to watch the launch. We are renting a car that day to drive to the port from WDW. I hope we can get there if the launch is delayed.

What time is everyone planning to arrive at the port on Saturday. We are being picked up by Florida Tours @ POFQ at 0900am I believe and with a quick stop for essentials(beerwe hope to arrive at 1030am? Does that seem about right? Is that early enough for our friends to secure a Palo reservation?

We're planning on leaving our rental house about 9 am and making a quick supply stop along the way. I imagine we'll get into the port between 10 and 10:30.

Is there a drying line in bathroom for wet swimsuits? Or do I need to bring some suction cup hooks?

Hmm. We leave the 30th. I'd better plan to hustle.

I use glow stick for night light - just pop one and put it on the floor close to the wall - they last about 4 days. Another one on the toilet behind the seat - that bathroom light is a killer in the night.

Think this time, I will label the pockets in my shoe bag so I'm not hunting through the whole thing every time.

I put a 'command hook' on the inside of my stateroom door (a magnetic hook would work too) for my lanyard with key card/coffee card.

Thanks for the reminder about the power strip. we DO need it.

The Happy Limo bus will pick us up at POFQ also at 9!! We aren't planning a stop along the way. But, we have about 25 people to load and their suitcases. I hope to be able to leave before 9:30. We would like to be at the terminal between 10 and 10:30. My DDIL really wants the #2 Boarding Pass. If we don't get it, I hope that whoever gets it will let her have her picture taken with it!!

In our cabin, the shoes seem to be PD by the shoe fairy and grow in number. Also, the boys just seem to dump them just inside the door. I use a hanging shoe holder in the closet so that we can keep the crocs, tennis and dress shoes straight for each kid.

We will probably been in the late arrivals group as we are taking Disney transportation from POFQ. DS8 just wants to make sure we arrive in time for lunch! He loves PC buffet.

Happy Limo is picking us up at Contemporary @ 10:00. We could have gone earlier but they lady I talked to said we would be charged wait time if the port isn't open when we get there, so she said 10:00 would be a safe p/u time.
