NO WAY was I struggling in to a wet suit. Yuck!

I hate that when I'm on vacation... ain't no way I'm gonna do it just to work out!!!

Speaking of the DD logo, the place we were working with,who had said no problem on t-shirts all of a sudden backed out,saying they are afraid of WDW
infringement/copyright.

It was all fine and dandy in August, but now they are backing out.

Yep, that's basically what happened with me.... folks are just scared of the Mouse's lawyers. WDW doesn't even have to be draconian about their copyright infringement litigation now... their reputation does it all for them.

Everyone's right about printing the shirts. There's a link in my sig to the file. Don't forget that it's a 10" square design so if you're going to print them yourself on regular transfer paper you'll have to reduce it to 8" or 7.5" (depending on the minimum margins you have available).

I'm wondering if Kinkos could print it... wonder if they have transfer paper. I'd really like to keep it at 10".

Oh, this is cool!!! I'm watching the local news and two stories this morning are 1) Halloween Horror Nights at Universal and 2) Epcot Food & Wine starts tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! It's gonna take me a while to get over the whoopeeeee! effect of having Disney news be local news. LOL

Good Thursday everyone - today is actually my Friday - YIPPEE! It has been a really long and busy week. I see that you have all been super busy with your planning - way to go. Life is so much more fun when there is an upcoming cruise.

Our lanyards are on the way so its time to work on the Mini-Navigators.

We are almost done and will have them ready to print before November 1.
I will make them available via internet and also I will print one per stateroom and pass them out with your lanyards.

We need to cover the cost of paper and printing so I am looking for a few people who would be willing to donate money for the Mini-Nav printing.If your interested, please PM me.

Good morning all-

Regarding the iron transfers, I personally use the dark ones for everything. The light ones you do have to mirror. The dark ones I have you don't. Just make sure your printer/computer isn't smarter than you. I didn't have an image reversed, but I selected iron on transfer in my printer setup and it mirrored it automatically for me. So, just make sure if de-select if this happens.

I know Kinko's cant do iron ons. Last cruise my printer broke right before the cruise and I had called them. The iron on transfers can't go thru the laser printers/copiers of the heat or something. Im getting ready to make shirts as well. The problem is: too many choices of disigns. I got the shirts already-way too many. The boys want a different shirt each day. I think I'm only going to make 2 for Ray and I (embarkation day and another one).

What color shirt are people using with our logo?

Thanks everybody for the help with the t's. Was trying the lazy way to have a tshirt maker/printer make them,but like Denise said, the mouse rules.

Another funny thing they said was they were worried about the picture resembling mickey too much, now I know I might be getting a bit up there in age-LOL, but come on,a globe with ice cream cone ears resembles Mickey.

Tell me litigation in our country isn't out of control

anyways Irish Belle says Hi, she apologizes for not posting more, but with her hours and being at a pc all day and most of the night,the last thing she wants to look at when she gets home is a pc. Can't say I blame her.
But when you meet her, she can talk your ear off. It's so hard trying to get a word in at parties when she is talking.
She is a great wife, mother and my best friend.
We will be celebrating 25 years of happy marraige next spring. So this is sort of an anniv cruise for us.

Now that I bored you all to death, thanks again to all, for the t-shirt advice.

Also, I made the MK Christmas Party dessert buffet ressies today, thanks.

I have always thought soccer was athletic - they run up and down like basketball players do - only the field is larger than the court. David took them, not me but he has a Canon Rebel.

Yippee!! My passport arrived today - so we were just missing DH's and then the doorbell rang about 10 minutes ago and it was the postman with DH's. So now we are all ready to travel!!!!

I'm going to Michael's this afternoon to pick up some t-shirts. I need to do 8 of them - it will make a great embarkation picture. Think I'll just wait and see what colour they have in all the various sizes.....

Hey, I play soccer too - well, we're done for the season (good thing cause I'm not getting any younger). And yes, it is hard work - those stops and sprints can leave you pretty winded. My first couple of games I thought I might have to call for oxygen....

We have a stateroom on every deck that will have a special message board for updates. Anything from room changes or what time/place is pixie duster happy hour! I included that information in the front of the mini-navigator which will also be available online about two weeks prior.

What is up with this heat???? (86 in VA this afternoon) I was starting to put out my fall decorations and clean up my flower beds....! It's kinda hard to pack my summer stuff when I keep needing to wear it!

Is there a cut off date for info/changes on the mini-navigator? I noticed that the people on the 11/7 sailing are getting their guarantee assignments now, so maybe we will get ours sometime next week. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for pixie dust . Thank you Cynthia for putting them together. Oh yeah - it is also over 100 degrees here (again!). Good thing we replaced our A/C in March. Is this heat ever going to end?!!!

Oh joy. I just got a letter from the principal saying that there are 3 confirmed cases of swine flu in the girls' school. Time to amp up the Lady MacBeth impersonation. The person I worry most about is DH, as his immune system is suppressed to prevent rejection. Time for him to go live in his bubble until we leave for vacation.

Ye, was just a matter of time for the swine flu. We had about 10 cases in our district last year. They closed the schools for 2 days if I remember right.
I have been holding my breath about our Cozumel stop to be honest.
But hopefully, the vaccine will be out SOON

Got my reg Flu shot yesterday at CVS pharmacy, pretty busy.

Got to get the kids done next.
