If you're going to the party, the Wishes Dessert buffet has been extended for MVMCP nights in Nov/Dec. It's $22 for adults and $10 for kids (I believe). It does have to be paid at the time of reservation.

We did this on july 3rd. It was awesome not to be in the massive, crazy, can't move crowds of july 3rd in mk. The view was perfect, service was great, constant replenishment of yummy desserts and even a photopass photographer. But I don't think we'd pay for it again, when there is "moving room" for the fireworks. But if $ isn't of concern, it is a great view. We stood at the ledge, but there were folks still in chairs.

Being that we are stationed in England right now I had to wake up at 1 AM to watch the Cowboys play. Worst mistake EVER! :sad2: I ended up in tears I was so frustrated. Romo is MUCH better than that! He needs to get his head in the game! :headache:

On a much happier note,

Less than two months!!!! WhoooHoooo!!!:cool1:

Sorry you had to wake up at 1:00 am. I was screaming at the TV. My husband just laughs at me. lol My kids think I am crazy for getting so crazy. lol But, that's what football is all about screaming and having fun. I hope one day soon we can watch the cowboys live. :banana:

We are getting so close to the cruise!! Next week we can can say, "next month we are going on the cruise"!
:love::love::goodvibes

Have a great day everyone.

Someone mentioned sending out a template, so that I could make luggage tags with the Double Dip logo on it. Could someone pretty please send me this template?

Thank you!!!
:love:

Did a yoga class last night for the first time in about 18 months (other than doing yoga with Wii Fit). Boy, I tell you, the endorphins were flying after that. I walked around for the rest of the night with a big smile on my face.

The balance due on our rental house for the trip was charged today, and we received all the access instructions and house info. Only 42 days until we fly to Orlando!!! :banana::banana::banana:

I did yoga on the Wii Fit this morning - that's too funny!! We need to make the last payment on the WDW portion of our trip - luckily, it's only $400. - I've been paying it off bit by bit so the balance wouldn't be too much of a blow. It's due Oct. 6th but I'll pay it off next week.

Been trying to figure out what I'm going to put on our t-shirts for Boarding the Magic - anybody got any pictures to share?!??? (Besides our DD logo of course)

Here the weather is quite bizarre - humidex of 30C/86F and raining - feels like a rainforest - weird for the second day of Fall.

Soon enough we'll have snow....we've had it on Halloween before :scared1::scared1:.

Cheers,
Lisa

Speaking of the DD logo, the place we were working with,who had said no problem on t-shirts all of a sudden backed out,saying they are afraid of WDW
infringement/copyright.

It was all fine and dandy in August, but now they are backing out.

Great timing.

Oh well, I guess I'll figure something out.:sad2:

Do it yourself? T-shirts from the craft shops are so cheap, and it really is quite easy. Just buy good quality transfer paper from staples and not the thin stuff from JoAnn and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Yes, that's what I plan on doing but I want to "jazz" them up a little....

Who am I kidding :confused3?? I'll just put the logo on it and be pleased with myself if I get that done.....

Cheers everyone,
Lisa

Ok, thanks, so with that in mind, how do I get the logo from Denises JPEG onto transfer paper?

Thanks

You download the logo onto your computer and then print it onto the transfer paper using a color printer. I would print a test page first onto regular paper to make sure that the size is correct. You might have to tweak the size a bit with a photo editing program.

Becky is right with her advice. The other thing I would suggest is that when you have it in your program, make sure you tell the system you want a mirror image or that you're printing onto transfer paper. otherwise, you have a perfectly lovely, but backwards, image after the iron on part is done.

That's ok - I think I spoke greek in the original post. The Wishes Dessert buffet is a special offering at the Magic Kingdom. It's got desserts and reserved seating/standing for the fireworks. From my understanding, they're only offering it in Nov/Dec on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) nights. :santa:

Oops, forgot about the mirror part. :rolleyes1 Still in magnet-printing mode. Thanks for catching that or xxcell would have whacked me over the head with his backwards t-shirt when he met me onboard. :rotfl2:

The short answer is - load the transfer paper in your printer and print on it, then iron it on the shirt.

The long answer is a combination of all the ones you've received so far!:rotfl:

First, decide what color t-shirt you're going to use. There are two kinds of transfers - one for white t-shirts and one for colors. The ones for colors will work on any shirt, and I like them better. The ones for white shirts will not work well on colored shirts.

I believe it's the one for white Tshirts you have to print Mirror image, but either way, the instructions in the package will tell you. FOLLOW THEM EXACTLY or you could wind up with a mess.

Where do I go to get the file? :confused3

Good Morning, People! Day shift checking in.

Off to the gym and pool - I HATE when it's so dark in the mornings.

Happy day, all!

Thanks will try this w/e.

LOL, if they come out backwards thats ok, at least we will be easy to find:rotfl:

We are so tired these days, we might not be awake for the FW at the MK.
Talk about needing a vacation:worship::worship::worship::worship:

50 days:cool1::thumbsup2:dance3:
