Did anyone else see that apparently Shutters will sell you a CD with all your cruise pictures now? I was thinking this is an awesome thing until I saw the price was $399.00US?:scared1::scared1: What's with that outrageous price? It's only $100.00 at the parks!:confused3

One of the servers in the lounge where we met came out and took our disgroup photo on the stairs by Parrot Cay last year.

Good idea. Or maybe we could go to the atrium and take our pic on the stairs if it's not too busy there.

Good grief. They really have been quaffing all the rum.

DH has a Rebel so he can bring his so we should be able to do this without Shutters help.

Perfect!

They're on crack!!!!!! Or rather, at least now we know why all the rum is gone!

I agree that we should just trade off cameras and take pics. Don't forget that we can all post our pics on our private gallery site after the cruise and then everyone can share in each other's pictures. And not just the group picture but all of them. At least I hope y'all will put up your pictures because there always seems to be something I missed for my scrapbook. I think it has something with the drink of the day whispering something like "yeah, but to use the camera you'd have to set me down and you don't want to do that, now do you?"

As a friend of mine said to me when she heard about our trip, "I'm looking forward to your Niagra Falls of pictures!". :rotfl2: I'm so relieved that I'm not the only one who hears the whispers from the DOD. :lmao:

That is a big rip off. the thought of shareing, sound's good I have to get a new camera for this cruise. because I went to visit my son in jacksonville,N.C. and took tristan to the beach on the way home and while taking the picture a BIG WAVE took me under with the camera in hand and killed it. it was a good thing I got the chip out so kim could see the picture's before the salt ate it. so I'm thinking of getting a nicer won to were I can print my own copies, and share.

I absolutely love my Kodak EasyShare! I enjoy playing with the settings, but don't have the patience to mess with lenses. It can be worked with one hand, fits into my jeans pocket, but still feels like there's something to hold on to. The newer ones have the "magic button" built into the camera so it does most of the color adjusting for you automatically.

Just a thought for you...

thank's I will check one out. this weekend or the following. Cause I will also need it when the new grandbaby come's in feb.

Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians and an early Happy 4th of July to our American DDippers!!

Cheers,
Lisa

Happy Canada Day!

We have now entered the month of JULY!:banana:The summer always flies by so before we know it we will be into the fall and really gearing up for our cruises! Hate to wish the summer away but I love my vacations! Come on November!

Only 30 more days til we can start making reservations!

Have we decided on a day and time for our group Palo brunch?

Also, we have to wait until 75 days to book, so what do we do if the time for the group Palo brunch is already completely booked by then?

The 75 day's is as of Aug. 31st, so I think we should be able to book at that time. And if it is full, we will have to book someplace else. I think I might do the brunch, but we will see how the cash flow's. And before you know it, it will be cruisen time!!!!!:yay:

Depending on the number of disers we may be able to book the private dining room at Palo. We would have to get in contact with the groups reservation department if I'm not mistaken. Our TA booked it for us when we sailed with our family 2 years ago. We may have too many people going, so we may just have to book individually. What day?:surfweb:

Hi, We're still here planning. I just wanted to check in. We are hoping the prices come down some at POFQ. They have come down until Oct 3, but when I called, they didn't have any specials yet for November. We plan to stay there before and after our cruise.
I want to go to Target and get some of those special laundry soap/dryer sheets that all in one. I have been working on our FE gifts. Everything is moving right along for us. And, we are looking forward to seeing everyone!!
Barbara (Mrs. Big Jack!!):goodvibes:goodvibes

Just wondering if you get a ticket with the date? hole punch etc? How do they keep track of time and activities? Wondering if we can do some activities on one day and then finish up on the second. Seems like so much to do for one day. Yes...trying to conserve

Hi guys. Just wanted to chime in on the Palo brunch. I think it is going to be really difficult to book a group brunch because we only have 2 sea days instead of 3 (usually Key West is a brunch day because they don't get into port until later). It will be hard enough for everyone else to get a brunch, much less a large party. It would be really easy to just go to lunch or breakfast together at whatever restaurant is serving it. It won't be as exciting, but at least everyone can be together in one place. Another idea is to do dinner at Palo on Friday night. Last year we scheduled dinner there for a party of 7 with only 3 hours notice. It was really dead there because I think everyone was busy packing. Any other thoughts?

Hey All!

From what I have read Port Orleans FQ will hopefully go on sale (if it does at all) in August or so. I am right with you there awaiting the sale so we can book our 5 night stay pre-cruise!:banana: I am hoping disney puts out some incentive for our November stay, free dining would also be nice!:thumbsup2

Palo Brunch - in order to get the private room, we need to link our reservations. The problem with linking reservations is that only one person in that linked group can be working on their reservations at a time. I thought it had been decided that we would all try for Monday and then, after the 75 day mark, we can link and fax the group to DCL.

I had also offered to see if there was anything I could do while I am onboard the week before.

Yes, that's what I'm remembering (as much as this old brain can remember). My only concern is for those of us who can't book until 75 days out and whether we will be able to get ressies at all. Gail, do you remember - have we decided on a specific time yet for Monday's brunch?

Sharen, we were also planning to have a group lunch at Lumiere's one day as well - maybe Thursday, the other day at sea? I can't remember if we have decided on a day for that yet (Old Brain Syndrome again). :lmao:
