Good morning all. The tree is up - cleaned before and after that little task. I see one lone stocking hanging from the mantle (Ben's - oldest DS) and the rest I hope to get out today. We took bets yesterday on how long it would take to get the tree back down - anyone else slow like me???

We also took some pics of the snow yesterday so once we get them off the camera, I will see about posting them.

OK - my cup is empty and my brain is fuzzy so off to get more coffee. Have a good day all.

Well, we were going to go out this morning and get our tree but we are in the middle of a blizzard. Thanks, glindamood!!

Everything else is put up and this afternoon, a friend and I are getting together to make teachers' presents. A nice day to stay inside with a cup of something hot!!

I finally got the tree to work-thanks Hypermommy!
Sorry for all the snow, it is overcast here today!
We put up our fake tree yesterday and all the stockings are hung. Now to just get the ornaments on the tree.....

It is STILL snowing here - it has been non-stop since Friday night. I do think I will bundle up later and get my car cleaned off so it won't be so bad in the morning. My DH does not understand what garages are really for.

In honor of my 200th post, I thought I'd let you in on a couple of things I found out about Mickey.

Did you ever wonder why Mickey wears those white gloves? After extensive testing, I finally figured it out. It is so he can hold more of your money! Careful analysis has shown that the average black leather glove can only balance 47 fifty dollar bills before they start falling to the floor.
HOWEVER,
Mickey can hold up to 151 separate fifty dollar bills before disaster happens (that's right, letting your money slip away!). With the expanded surface area the oversized gloves have, a Florida vacation with the mouse can cost up to three times what an ordinary trip would cost. Figure about $7.5K for an average one week visit with family. The number also includes DCL guests, but not DVC members, who get to pay alot more.

The other thing was hearing about the new hospital they are opening. Celebration Hospital, Kissimmee Fl. Not bad for a man with a dream.

But KC, remember DVC members get a lot more too! And just think... after the initial investment is paid off, you no longer have to pay for a room when you go to visit your favorite white-gloved one. And then you can watch him balance other people's money in his glove.

Mary, LOL!!! SWMBO indeed! At least he knows how to keep harmony in the household, right?

And Double, it's gotten that many more pages becuase we just have so much fun to have. Just wait until it gets closer to the cruise and see how quickly pages get added.

KC, lovely words about your wife on the Pre-Trippie - at first I thought you might be mocking her amazing organizational abilities - but I'm sure you know better than that! Besides, then you would be mocking all of us who suffer from OCPD (Obsessive Compulsive Planning Disorder) and you wouldn't want to get on our bad side!!

My DH knows that all this time spent on the DIS boards and planning our second cruise will save him headaches in the long run . He's a "just tell me where to show up" kind of guy. This past Christmas break at the World proved me right (once again). My BIL thought I was because I had it all planned out but after the first couple of days when everyone was going one way and we were going the other (resulting in no waiting), he too bowed down to my superior planning abilities.

Off to bake Christmas cookies with DD3 - wish me luck!! Have a great day everyone!!

Wow - so many posts in three days! Well, I survived DH's 40th party - attended by more than 70 people (and 20 of them KIDS). We went through 18 bottles of wine, a case of beer, 3 huge bottles of dark rum (hurricanes), and LOTS of cajun food. It was fun but exhausting. Onto Christmas. Anyone ready for Christmas yet?

KC - no cigar smoker here, but if anyone is up for a cappucino, expresso evening than I'm there along with DH.

I would happily send it to anyone. DH took pictures on Saturday but has not got them onto the computer yet so that I can post. It was bad again this morning - another five or six inches I would guess. No problems getting to work though, once I got out of the driveway the roads were covered but not bad. We must have well over two feet at this point, probably closer to three. I am so very tired of it already.
