Hi Travelbee!

Cassie, (mydd) is always open to making new friends. In fact on our cruise last November she didn't take to much to the kids clubs because it seemed like all the kids her age came with people they knew and were not that open to pursuing new friendships. For this reason as well as others we have encouraged a couple of friends that have girls the same age as Cassie that they need to experience a disney cruise with us! We have great friends who we met on our honeymoon coming with their ds(12) and dd(7) as well as our neighbor across the street with their dd(8) and ds(6). We have already asked to be sat with one of our friends for dinner but I am sure the girls can all meet up at the kids club. Let me know what you think!

Another item that added MANY hundreds of dollars last time was formal clothes (we don't get out much). We will NOT be doing it this time. We will probably dress nicely for semi-formal night and have pictures taken, but this will be the only time I won't be wearing a T-shirt & jeans.

You know, that's something I can actually see... you at Serenity Bay in your jeans and t-shirt. NOT!!! I know you don't like showing off your sexy Irish legs, but you need to get used to the idea so you can sit in the surf with me on Serenity Bay. Now come on, darling... you can't deny me that since it's free (well, since we've already paid for the cruise it's free).

C'mon y'all..... help me convince KC it's okay to wear something other than jeans now and again

Actually, that got me to thinking about pictures. I've been working on trying to get the gallery up but I had a problem with it and can't get it to work right now. I haven't given up on it but this Saturday is Digital Scrapbooking Day - big day in the industry and I've been working like a demon getting ready for it. And then Sat will be all day hanging out at the various online stores and such. Probably some of that on Sunday too. Hopefully after that I'll be able to get back to getting the photo gallery working so we can share pictures of ourselves.

Bummer, but totally understandable. I know she's not on here anymore to read this but I wanted to take a moment to say goodbye. Somewhere in the cosmic vibes I'm sure she'll know that we'll miss her.

Snow, snow, snow!!! Send some my way!!!!!! Actually, it's been cold the past few mornings here too. Somewhere around 40 in the morning and only getting up in the 60s or 70s during the day. Not fair for it to be cold and not have snow!!!!!

Hey Hypermommy, the next time you wander off to Fantasyland, how about taking a few of us with you. Phrases like 'free' and 'paid for' are pretty far from reality, and are seldom associated with DCL a year before sailing. We only booked this trip 2 months ago, and the Mic's none too happy with these puny payments.

I thought we agreed that Mickey needed those new shoes, not you. Have you ever really looked at those big black clunky clown shoes he has now? Let's have pity on the (not so) poor mouse and get HIM some REAL shoes, OK?

Hey everyone! So we are all sick to be planning like this, so far in advanced. We are going on the cruise with the count now being I believe 30 people. My son will be 5 the week of the cruise. I plan on making him a basket full of disney-b-day gifts. I've already made a box and started collecting. Even sand toys for CC. I just bought a $70 rolling cooler for $20 on sale at target. It's big enough for tons of stuff including my husbands big bottle of Captain, my redbulls, water, and beer. It's actually quite compact. I'll post a pic down the road. I will begin a pre-trip report but not until sometime next year in like august/september. Any one have any 5 yr olds. We are really nice and friendly people who love to have fun!!!!!!!!

Hey there, hi there, ho there! Nah, we're not crazy. The rest of the world just doesn't "get" it. I'm gathering information and putting it up here on the board occasionally to help everyone in planning.

And yes, Mary Az.... I'm going to post spreadsheet results again. But it won't be this weekend. Digiscrapping day yesterday kicked me in the butt! I hosted 3 speed scraps and was sooooo very glad when no one showed up at the last one. It's the one that I do every week and there's usually a core of people there but they were all doing other stuff last night. Which is cool... I just went on to bed. But the other scraps went well and I got a couple of good pages out of it.

Oh, another thing that I've been working on is figuring out the best way to do our photos. I'm going to use the Coppermine brand photo gallery so we can each add our own photos and we can comment on each other's photos. I just have to get it set up. I hope to get some time to work on that this afternoon.

Since I'm going to be putting it somehwere that's not linked up anywhere, I think it's really safe. Now that fizzgig's not gonna have a board, I could hook up a message board like this but on "our" site so it would be safe (i.e., the only folks that are most likely to get on there are us so it's a safe place for the kids to maybe get to know each other). Anyone interested? If so, I'll get that hooked up too. If not, that's cool and I won't bother.

And KC, I have it on the best authority that Mickey loves his shoes and Minnie loves them too. Now, your poor wifey, on the other hand, needs comfy shoes that she can slip on that will be warm through these cold North Florida winters and which will still show folks how much I love Disney. Now you can't deny me that simple, little most eminently reasonable request, can you?

Just checking in! Guess what on Nov 14 of this year we are visiting some friends in Orlando and staying for 4 days. Friday we are doing Medieval Times, Saturday is Epcot Day, Sunday is Magic Kingdom day. I'm so excited. It will be for my sons 4th birthday. We live real close to Orlando so the trip isn't super expensive plus we stay with my friends. They have a 3 yr old and an 8 yr old. I will definitely post pics. We made ADR's at Coral Reef Grill and Crystal Palace. Both for dinner. I'm going to suprise my son. He hasn't been to Disney since he was 2 and he doesnt remember that trip. He is infatuated with Mickey Mouse. My husband downloaded and burned all the old Mickey Mouse cartoons and he can't get enough of them. He also loves all the other characters and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I want to surprise him on the day of departure. Does anyone have any ideas on how. Keep in mind he's barely 4. What about showing him some sort of video (needed) about Disney and saying do you want to go and he says yes, and I say ok let's jump in the car! What do you think. Any creative ideas welcomed.

But maybe if Mickey says, "See you real soon" you could answer - "Ok, we're on our way, Mickey!" What fun!!
