Hypermommy my mom's wondering if you can make us that pirate mickey flag magnet and if you know how to do the mickey ear magnets for the emblem for the door and shes willing to pay you for them

Be happy to do so. Do you guys have an inkjet printer? That's all you need ... that and some magnet paper or a laminator and some magnets for the corner. And you can get that at Walmart. Let me know and I can certainly send you the graphic.

Oh, and there are a couple of threads here on the DIS you're gonna wanna know about.

Both of 'em are full of wonderful graphics and I spent many an enjoyable evening looking them over.

There's another thread somewhere that has folks that will do signs for you. But you don't need that (unless, of course, you like someone else's style better which is cool becuase art is in the eye of the beholder) becuase yu've got me.

And no need to pay me. Just pay it forward.... some day someone will need something nice for you. I don't know the dimensions for the ears, but I'm sure we can find them between now and then.

For the most amazing name magnets for your door.
Sandy compiled lots and lots of Disney names that you can print out for the door.
The first page gives a directory of what page each name is on. I believe she has been overwhelmed with requests so she has stopped taking requests. But she has a huge lists of name common & uncommon for free use. I plan on printing ours on magnetic paper. The are just too cute.

Hello all!

I booked this cruise for myself, parents, sister & her family while I was on my last cruise (solo) in Sept. They wanted me to book so they could get a discount and said "just pick any date towards the end of the year - we'll probably change it anyways." Well when I saw there was a Double Dip in Nov, I couldn't pass it up!! Now I'm just trying to convince them that there's no need to change to a different date in 2010! How are you going to find a better 7 day cruise than this? Besides, it's my reservation - so I get final say, right?

Anyways, on the chance that I am part of this group, I added the banner to my sig and read the rest of the thread to catch up. I'm just glad that this thread doesn't move as fast as the others I'm part of so I can catch up! The Sep 2010 transatlantic thread was just started back in mid-Sep (yes, before the cruise was official) and we're already on page 75!!

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and actually doing FE & door magnets this time (I was overwhelmed on my 1st DIS cruising experience). And since I have been paying attention... here's my nana contribution:

Hi all. We're heading out to DLR on Monday for a week for our Disney fix. We just couldn't wait another year for some magic!

Stay with us OCD, it's going to be a blast - plus it's a LOT cheaper than the 2010 cruises. More money for spa treatments and froo-froo drinks by the pool.

Well I also have another ulterior motive for wanting to stay on this cruise (besides the great itinerary and fabulous cruisemates) - my 1st cruise was Jan 07, 2nd was Aug 08 and I know I'm cruising with the pirate crew again in 2010 so I HAVE to cruise in 09 to keep the pattern!

Hypermommy we don't have an inkjet printer but my aunt does. I'll try to use hers for some magnets I liked as I was looking through the links you posted. If you want to ask her about anything her DIS name is armandXG If anyone wants to send us magnets for our room door please send it to her. Thats the only way for us to print them. THANK YOU

Another SPH cabin up for grabs! I just transfered from this cruise to an earlier sailing and we had SPH 5020. Sorry to bail on you guys but I found out my boys are off school two days the week after Halloween so they will only miss three days instead of 5.

Absolutely!!! If you don't cruise in 09 then that destroys the pattern, will push the planets out of alignment and cause general worldwide mayhem. You don't wanna do that, do you?

So I'm going to be putting together some numbers from the spreadsheet later on today. So far we've had 11 people fill it out. And MaryAz is organizing our poker game and has some great ideas of her own!! They'll possibly have some questions coming up for everyone so keep a weather eye out for 'em, mateys!

As for me... I'm off to the Greek festival again today. I had such a good time at lunch yesterday that I had an apostrophe (well... an epiphany... anyone seen that scene with Smee and Hook in the movie "Hook"?). I called DS15 and DS13 and told them to each find one fact about the Greek church from wikipedia. Then today, I'm taking them over to the festival. We'll take the half hour tour of the church that the priest is giving. We'll eat some more yummy Greek food (dolmades, tropita, spanikopita... yummy!). We'll learn some traditional Greek dances . I may even get a glass of ouzo and let them each have a sip (ain't nobody gonna get drunk off of a single sip). And the best part of it all -- which they don't know yet -- is when they get home they're going to each be required to write a five paragraph letter to their grandmothers talking about what they did and learned. Sounds kind of like an essay to me, what do you think? I'm such an evil mommy, ain't it?

I'll be crunching the spreadsheet for some numbers this afternoon and will get that to y'all!
