Hi Judy! Was your cruise impacted by any of the hurricanes? Hope not.

MaryAz, I can't wait until Fizzgig gets the website recycled. Hope you'll share pics of miniMaryAz! She sounds so precious!!!

Hypermommy
She is precious all right, about as precious as a bull in a china shop :) I am going to get her a shirt that says "I have no off button" She is just one of those kids you loves life as lives it to the fullest!

Oh, what a precious princess!!!! She's just cute as a button and sounds like a wonderful kid! I'd much rather have a kid that runs around full of energy than one that sits like a bump on a log. They're no fun at all.

Gotta warn you though... after seeing this precious little thing, I'll tell you that she can do no wrong in my eyes. Whatever she does, she's right, 'cause she's the princess.

Big hugs to little miniMaryAz and a few naners too...

It's been a while since I've chimed in - but I kept reading!! Love the "Double Dip Delight" and "Make Mine a Double" - makes me wish I'm more creative... At any rate, I subscribe to MouseSavers Newsletter, which had a blurp on the enhancement on the Magic during Dry Dock. During dry dock (September 6-24, 2008), the Magic will undergo the following changes: 1) the Cove Cafe will have new seating area with plush, comfortable chairs and the hot tubs will have cascading waterfalls into the adult pool, 2) kids' wristbands will have Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags to facilitate check in/out at the Oceaneer Club and Lab with a tap on the sensor, 3) a new toddler water playground will be installed, and 4) 22-inch LCD TV in the stateroom. Sorry if any of this information is repeated because I haven't read through all the previous posts yet.

Hello everyone,
It is a beautiful but chilly day here today. I think Fall may have finally arrived.

DDs and I just finished rolling the coins in the cruise piggy bank and now theres another $100. to go into the Cruise fund!! I've been putting all loose change (my DH's :rolleyes1 ) into a Mickey Mouse piggy bank and today he was too full to add any more.

Have a great week everyone!!

Cheers,

OMG Fizzgig,
Only 3 more days!!! I hope you have a great holiday on the newly refurbished Magic. You'll have to tell us all about it!!

Have a terrific time!!!

Cheers,
Lisa

Thank you!!! I'm ready to get on that plane... well, except for that whole "packing" thing... :rotfl:

Hi all, I wish we could be joing you on this double dip, but unless I win the lottery soon I'll just have to settle for my 4 day in Dec.:goodvibes
My two sisters and nephew (15 at time of sailing) will be joining you, and I apologize in advance for those unfortunate enough to run into them.(the sisters, that is..)
Anyone have a teen sailing? My nephew, Tristan is a great kid. Very caring, well mannered, well behaved young man. He likes to play World of Warcraft on line with his Dad. He is really looking forward to this cruise. His mom thinks they are going to spend a lot of fun time together :rotfl: I say "NOT!" I warned her that the teens have their own agenda and she will be lucky if they had meals together.
Oh well. In the mean time, I'll have Tristan set up his Disboard account so he can do his own postings.
Happy sailing All!:yay:

I have two boys that will be on this cruise. One will be 16 at the time of sailing and one will be 14. So they'll probably fit right in with Tristan. I'm not going to let them get a DIS account yet (I guess I'm still a bit protective) but when Fizzgig gets back and recycles the Double Dip website I'll let them get on there. Maybe Tristan can do the same and they can get to know each other before the cruise.

And you're right about the teens not spending much time with the family. They have their own thing that they're doing. We almost never saw either one of my boys during our April cruise but we always made sure to have dinner as a family. It was a lot of fun getting together in the evening and catching up on what everyone'd been up to.

I am trying to convince the husband to stay at disney world for a week pre-cruise since we enjoyed it so much this month. Anyone else staying in the world first then boarding"Make mine a double"?

Oh, Lawd, I wish, I wish, I wish. I think I'd have to win the lottery for that to happen. Or maybe you just want to adopt me? I'm (relatively) well-behaved and do (most of) my chores on time! :rotfl2:

Hush, King Charming... no comments from the peanut gallery! :rotfl:

We'll be there for 10 days pre-cruise

Where are you staying? I am thinking Port Orleans French Quarter.Let's hope they have a great offer next year at Disney like they do now. Moderates and park tix for $61.00pp per night!:thumbsup2

We're staying in a vacation rental home about 5 minutes from WDW. I bought our park tickets right before the price went up in August, so we're all set there :thumbsup2

Well we booked this cruise a while back - but I wanted to get through our first dcl cruise and fe exchange before subscribing here. We were on the 9/11-9/14 (hey fivepin!!) Had a great time and realized 3 days is not enough time on DCL. It will be Me(Lisa), DH(Dave), DD15 (turning 16 on 11/17), DS13, DS12, DD10. We will be renewing our vows on this trip. If anyone has any teenage girls that need a cruise buddy My 15/16 year old would love to have someone to do the teen things with - she was being a chicken on this last cruise and did not want to go to things by herself.
Anyways I cant wait for this trip
Talk to you all soon

Hi Lisa-

I was trying to remember who from the 9/11 cruise was going to be on this one. Welcome. How was your 1st experience with DCL? I'm getting ready for the family one which is 10/11 on the Magic. I'm here printing like a mad women (autograph pages, iron on's, and door signs). I have 26 cabins for the FE exchange on the cruise next month. So, I'm still putting those together. The last cruise was my first experience with the FE exchange.
I have thought about renewing our vows on one of the cruises. I had wanted to do it for our 10 year, but it didn't happen. Maybe for year 15. Unfortunately I can't help you out with a cruise partner for you DD. I have 3 boys 4,6,9 (a little too young)

Hope everyone is doing well. I'll be checking in later.

hi all, I will be joining you on this cruise along with my mom and aunt Debi. I am very happy about this trip :rotfl:

:cheer2: This is nc__monkey's mom. I can't wait for this trip :yay: I had promised to take my son on his thirteenth :bday: But I lost my job and we couldn't go. Now I have a great job :woohoo: So the trip is back on for November of next year, hopefully nothing will stop us.pixiedust:

You know - we're planning on flying in Friday morning and going to MVMCP :santa: the night before the cruise. (Yes, I know, they haven't released dates yet, but this year there's one on the Friday's closest to our cruise dates - so I'm hopeful!) :thumbsup2 Would that be a good enough excuse to help get you convince KC to leave a little earlier?
