The next milestone has been met!!! Whoo hoooo!! Kevin called at 4:49 our time and everything is booked! Mitchell and I are biking on St. Martin - Kevin and Austin are kayaking. On St. Thomas we're all hiking on St. John ...........and Castaway Cay? Well, just about everything!!!

In the words of Sponge Bob Square Pants: "I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready!!"

Everyone knows disneydreamer1970, she is my DW. We are doing the beach thing. I told her I want to sit on the beach with her and let our fingers meet in playful hand holding while we sip cold drinks, and watch the blue water. ofcourse we will have to rest up from the late nights of fun on the ship with all you dis'partyers.

sigh. forgot to book my parasailing this morning (for DH and Josh). So twenty more minutes of being put on hold, listening to Disney show tunes. (could be worse....)

Couldn't get them a reservation 'til 2:30! Only 2:30 and 3:30 were left, so if you're wanting to parasail, get them ressies in!!! why didn't I listen to jeanna, my TA?!!!

I was making a payment on our cruise for this November and the lady told me that they had a new policy. Payments are now due 75 days out and you can also book excursions too. She said they started this about a week ago. She did day, that all bookings before last week would still have up to the 60 day mark to pay.

Glad everyone got their excursions planned/booked......I hope some of you will join the lazy Gray/Fallon's (Me and DH) for some quality lounging time at the Beach in St Martin after your planned trips....are most of your trips/excursions in the morning?
I figure we will need the down time after all the social/eating/drinking events you guys are planning for our days at sea .

BTW, beside the much promoted wine tasting....they also have a "beer sampling" on Tuesday at Diversions Deck 3 @ 2 p.m. - taste 4 British Beers....I am sure DH wouldn't mind some company!!!

I posted about forgetting to book Castaway Cay....had to settle for parasailing in the afternoon for Josh and John (they only had time slots at 2:30 and 3:30 left when I called!).

Point was to tell you to get those CC activities booked now if you're wanting them!

DD (cantsitstill) just called to let us know that DSIL booked the family excursions this morning!! He called so early that he was the very first call taken for the lady he spoke with. And this is with the CA time difference!! Almost the middle of the night!! LOL (well, my night). Thank you, Thank you, Kevin for doing all the bookings. And DH (Grampa) is even booked for the banana boat ride! Can't wait to see that!! I am soooo excited This is our first cruise, but not our last!

I want to do it ALL and then have seconds!!!

I would like to say I applaud all the dieters on this cruise..

But my train of thought, thanks to the info from our DD and DSIL, has been to do the opposit and to stretchhhh my stomach so that I can take advantage of the bounty I am going to be blessed with!! LOL....

I had taken the countdown on our Dreams Unlimited reservation when it said 60 days YESTERDAY and e-mailed my request. I don't think they did anything with it until today, but I got DH a parasailing excursion on CC for 10:30!! (I "talked" him into it, since I want the pictures from the air for my scrapbook!)

What a day it has been!!! I paid off our cruise and booked our shore excursions!! We are going to Orient Beach on St Martin and Magen's Bay Beach on St. John!! We chose beach excursions because we didn't think that our 3 year old would want to be strapped in her stroller while we are walking around the islands...besides we just want to relax and play!!!

Yee-Haa!!!!!

We are really going on a cruise!!!!! I can't believe it!!!!!

Don't forget to pack a waterproof throw-away camera - they are very expensive to buy on the trip.

NOT that I am suggesting anyone would get wet during this adventure .

I had figured on buying him a disposable... I would be forced to harm him if he dropped our regular camera in the ocean!!

Trish and Jen, what time are ya'll doing the Golden Eagle? We ended up choosing the 1pm, so everyone could be well rested! I sure hope at least one of you two chose the afternoon one!

And Pat, I'm sure my DH would LOVE to go to the Beer Sampling! I think he will be available for it! They both will probably be glad to have some company! I don't like beer (or wine for that matter!), so I won't be joining him!

Thanks, Grayfal, for the reminder. DD Katie did bring one home last night she wants to use for snorkling but I hadn't thought of the great arial shots she could get.

That's great Tina, I am trying to set up a few "play dates" for DH - I don't want to be the only one having fun !

I just told Tom he had a buddy for the beer event - a guy name Rhett from Louisianna - he gave me an awfully odd look....now if I can just get him out from under the umbrella and off of that lounge chair......

and definitely buy your disposable underwater cameras at home....they KILL you on the islands .
