11/13/04 Eastern Cruise only We Did It

Ok, since we are discussing excursions....which ones is everyone planning on booking?

We are booking the Island & Butterfly tour in St Martin and then DH will be booking the golf excursion on St Thomas and I am booking the tramway tour for myself and Aubrey.

Can you believe it is only 60 days away?

Ok, so I think I'm in the minority on this one but...we don't plan on booking any excursions. Yes, it's ok, you can thank me...one less person you'll be competing with! LOL

With the kiddies being little and this being our first cruise we just want to kick back and take it all in.

Now comes my self-doubting side...OH NO, am I missing something?!

And, thanks for the beach info...that sounds great. Nice of you to let the secret out...we'll save you a chair. LOL!! You also reminded me to get in touch with my friend who lived in St. Martin. I'll let you know if she sends me any recommendations.

we were ready with excursions about 6 months ago. maybe longer then that. we love to plan ahead. learned that from first cruise

Nope, not our friends, but I loved her shoes too! Our bride plans to go barefoot, perfect for a beach wedding. Hopefully she will send me some pictures so I can share with ya'll.

I've been waffling all along; for a while I thought I'd just do a beach day with the family. I don't want to try to "do everything" on this cruise - more looking forward to relaxing. Hmmm, still don't know.

Your children are quite little, Heather, so I think you are making the right choice. (I know I can't make a "wrong" choice Pat!!! ]

I see my DW beat me to the boards today, She is just that much more quick then I. Just to let everyone know, Trish and I have started to pack. I invited my mom, dad, Frank, and Sandra to our cabin for a drink on the veranda. Do you all know how cool that sounds?????? If there is room, maybe you all can stop by for an open cabin cocktail. Can someone tell me if there is room for our disboards group?

Xsydid---heck no there isn't room in a stateroom for our disboard family.

Unless of course you are House of Princesses. She has the granddaddy of suites. Several of us will fit in there.

I'm affraid your stateroom will only hold a few dis ers but it should be fun anyway.

Make sure you plan on attending our formal Dismeet on embarktion day prior to the safety drill.

Hey Susan! Where is the packing list on mouse4less? I couldn't find it! It would be nice to have a different packing list to assess!

No weight loss for me this week. Oh well. Maybe next week!

BTW Jeanna, you have the sweetest voice I have ever heard on the phone! Can't wait to meet the person behind the "sweet voice" in person...along with all of our Dis family members!

You guys have been a chatty group today, haven't you? Tina, don't worry, I am in the no weight loss last week too! I was doing really good until the minor cheating I did. I didn't think it was quite so bad until I stepped on the scale and WHOA!! Where did THEY come from?!?!?!?

Guys, I have to get running to bed. I have an early morning ahead of me. Have to make sure our excursions are all booked first thing in the morning. I have already sent them off to the coordinator but there is nothing wrong with double checking!!

Talk to some of you tomorrow!!

Hey susan, I am sure that Trish will make sure we make it to the meet. I am looking forward to it also. I think that if we start a conga line we can just all conga through our cabin for a quick drink and keep on conga'ing, :thewave:

Doh! WHY didn't i get my stuff into Jeanna when I had the chance??!!! I'm gonna be on hold for the next six hours....


...4 minutes later: okay. I'm done. That was painless. (especially compared to having to make a DECISION - now THAT was painful!)

Went with (for now )Golden Eagle Catamaran for the five of us and Atlantis Sub for DH and twins. Leaves time for shopping and beaching. I've still got St. John possibilities swimming around in my head, so who knows...

But...Isn't this exciting!!!! gosh, it's getting so much closer!
