Hi everyone! We are just starting to see the affects of the storm. It is suppose to be a hurricane again before the eye actually passes over us. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ok since I have been voted DisMeet chairperson, and there was a unanimous vote during the impromptu chat we had last night.


DisMeet in the Pomanade Lounge at 2:30-3:00pm on embarktion day prior to safety drill at 4pm

Be there or be square. It won't be a long meet, but we can always hook back up on deck 9/10 for the sail away bash.

Come one, come all, introduce yourself to the nuts you have been talking to for almost a year

Being a newbie I don't know this.... are children allowed in the Promenade Lounge? And if they are, are they invited? Or is it just the whacky adults?

It might be nice for all our children to hook up early on. Just a thought Oh Great DisMeet Chairwoman!!

vicki from the wonder cruise we took last year it looked like kids were ok to be in the lounge. come one come all.

i need email addresses from those who want me to make door signs so i can email it to you and let you print it on paper and you can let me know if you want any changes. making these door signs are lots of fun for me.

i hope that CC will be open when we cruise. if it is it will be looking rough.

we also need to get a DIS meet on a sea day. thursday is a good day but ill ask the DIS meet worker LOL to set it up LOL. hope to see everyone soon. still send your prayers for sophie and for all in the path of frances and ivan

I agree. If we are able to make it to CC, I just wonder what kind of condition it will be in. That doesn't just go for CC, it is true for all the Islands. We'll see.

2:30-3:00 sounds great to us but can anyone tell me what time we need to register our children for the Oceaneer Club/Lab?

You can register them anytime. If you have early seating for dinner I would probably do it right before we meet.

It seems to get kinda crowded around meal times.

Ok, Still not sure how much we are going to get from this storm. We have had rain and winds gusting about 30+ mph so far. The storm went in a little farther east than expected, so waiting to see. They are still calling for flooding and high winds and power outages. So far we haven't lost power. I'll try to check back in later.

Just let us know the DIS meet on the at sea day and we'll be there!
