Hey Susan, when I sent them to Linda, Sarah, Vicki and Jen, they saw 2 signs not 3 pages........so I will re-do/check them...sent John an email......::yes:: ...I am wondering if your Microsoft Word margins are set differently - he is opening in word, right ::yes:: ???

Here is the link where I got the clip art......::yes::

Someone posted it here....I will also forward a file that PoohJen sent me,,,,GREAT images ::yes:: !!!

Stop with the strawberry crepes,,,,what time is breakfast???? :jester:

Yes ma'am he is looking at them in word. I looked at the newest one you emailed me and it looked great.

Dumb question from an uneducated food critic....What the heck is a crepe anyway?

Should I put that on the list with escargot...try it if I don't have to pay extra for it. LOL

Much more eater friendly then escargot!

A crepe is a very thin, sweet pancake that is usually filled with yummy, dessert kind of stuff - like whipped cream and strawberries....another variation is called a ' cheese blintz' (sp) which has a cream cheese-like filling and blueberry jam......
The crepe/pancake is round and flat....good stuff is put on it and rolled like a taco!

All I can say is YUMMY for all of these......not at all like eating a snail (which I also really like!):earseek: :earseek:

Glad the 'new' signs made it thru as one page....Vicki is finalizing hers as well.......Lata'!

edited to put you in the mood!!!

I'm so jealous Sarah and LInda!!! but..Congrats!!! You must be floating on air!

Jeanna - are our docs being sent UPS??? Do I need to stay home today????

Was hoping to catch y'all on chat last night, but DH needed putr. Pat - I'll catch up w/ you.

Gonna be a gorgeous weekend here - hope y'all have the same!:sunny:

The docs are coming to Kim. I don't know how she usually sends them back out but if you know you aren't going to be there, let her know. Maybe she could even send them to a neighor that is home... just some thoughts... I have been trying to catch her at home but so far no luck... when I talk to her, I will let all of you know!!

Good Morning! I like those weather reports!
It's very gloomy here!

I am getting so excited! So how many of you are planning on rebooking on board? Which cruise do you think you'll rebook?

Have a great one and see you soon!

Debbie, Jeanna and her family and I think Linda and her family, along with me and John have already rebooked for Dec. 3, 2005.

Come join us. You can book it while onboard next month.

I wish we could! Dh doesn't want to do the western right now because we have read that the terrain isn't suitable for strollers and that young kids have a hard time with the terrain as well. Also dh works for a bank, and they aren't always allowed to take vacations in Dec.:( I'll miss you guys!

Now I'm really sad, no docs and I can't join you guys in Dec!

No documents here yet, but CONGRATULATIONS to all those that have received them. I think it's a cruel joke on Disney's part to start sending out documents right before a three day weekend when we can't get to the mal because of the locked door!

Ahh, booking another cruise onboard. I keep trying to talk myself out of it because I want to go to Europe in another 1 1/2 years but, will likely rebook while on board. Anyone else?

Susan, Have fun trying the escargot. I know lots of people like it but, I figure...anything that has to be served in a special plate so that it doesn't crawl away is not for me. :earseek:

Does anyone know if they serve "girly" drinks on board? I don't like the taste of most alcohol but do like the Smirnoff Twisteds and Bacardi Raz. I know they didn't have what I was looking for last year so I figured I would ask.

And WOW, I printed out the list of spa treatments and prices... they really have gone up. You have to love the descriptions though. Instead of "mud bath" it is "untrodden earth from Australia" or something like that. I wanted to treat myself to something but, not sure with those prices. Might stick to the Rainforest Room.

Hey guys... I am getting jealous of all you going to see the Wonder... I just IM'd Sarah only to see she is gone shopping and to see the Wonder. How unfair is that??? First, they get their documents and now this??? ((just kidding Sarah!!)) We want pictures!!

Okay, I finally caught up with all y'all. I called and booked excursions today; and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get into everything that I wanted. So, is anyone excursioning with me?

St. Marten - Golden Eagle Cataraman, morning trip

St. Thomas - Kayak Marine Sanctuary Tour and Paradise Point Tramway

Castaway Cay - Parasailing (really thought this was going to be booked, have never had the chance to try it on the other cruises) for 10:30 and then the Seahorse Catamaran Snorkel Adventure at 1:15

I agree, I'm jealous of everyone going to see the Wonder too. Patiently waiting for pictures.

Carolyn, I tried the escargot last year. They were the ugliest things I've ever eaten. And they tasted like garlic butter rubber bands. John even tried one and was NOT impressed.

Crepes on the other hand sound very very yummy.

They can make girlie froo froo drinks onboard the ship. I myself don't care for the taste of alcohol, but the effects can be fun, so I only go after the fruity or the creamy type drinks.

The Miami Vice was good, that's the only one I remember by name. Going up to Paradise Point, on St Thomas and check out the Bushwacker and Banana Daquires. I have heard wonderful things about both.

I'd be willing to bet that those of us up here in the Great White North get them last! Exicted that they've started sending them though. We still have a GTY!

Carolyn, my family and I are going on the 1pm G.E. Catamaran trip, and I'm pretty sure someone else is too! I think it is Tracy or Trish! For St. Thomas I would like to go to Paradise Point but will probably do that on our own, since the price is the same there, in case we just want to rest on the boat for a while, before our afternoon excursion...The Doubloon. As for C.C., we are just going to snorkel on our own and enjoy the day!

We had a wonderful Crepe Cafe here long ago. They had the most wonderful entrees and desserts!!

I remember fondly the chicken in a wild mushroom creme sauce crepe. The strawberry with whip cream crepe. How about the (are you sitting down, Susan?) Lobster bisque crepe!!

So, am I going to get crepes on this cruise? :Pinkbounc

How am I ever going to fit so much in in so little time!?! :earseek:

Mmmmmm....and I am remembering a wonderful crepe wrapped around vanilla ice cream and smothered in warm praline-pecan sauce, with a lovely dollop of real whipped cream:tongue: It is to die for!!!!! Shall I mention the crepe spread with nutella and wrapped around a banana, topped with whipped cream and slivered toasted almonds?? OK...now I am hungry!!!!!!! Who started this torture??:earseek:

That sounds like one they had at the Magic Pan. My mom and I used to go almost every other weekend (it was at the mall) and I had a great salad with mandarin oranges and almonds and would have a dessert one...usually vanilla ice cream with chocolate mint sauce!

The other side of our family makes them with lemon juice and sugar...yummy. I had a sugar one at a little stand right near the Eiffel Tower. That was the only French food I had on my brief trip to Paris.

Okay, now I'm hungry...and I'm eating Bran Flakes!

John is going to have to change the name of this thread to

11/13/04 "Eat Your Way Across the Caribbean" Cruise :jester:

Seems like I'm in the minority with my love of escargot. I've never had it on the Magic--where can I find it?

It is one of the appetizers offered at Lumiere's.

I was expecting something like what you see in the snail scene from the movie "Pretty Woman" but they came out in a little plate with 6 holes. Each ugly little one swimming in his own pool of garlic butter.

I actually ate 3 of them, and John tried 1.

Glad I didn't order it at a "pay" restaurant.

Definitely an acquired taste! I love how they're always served in those special plates. I wonder why I've never seen them at Lumiere's--I'll be on the lookout this year.
