Hi! We will have been married 11 years on 11/11/11 and I am seriously considering a vow renewal at WDW. We went for our honeymoon, and I think this would just be so fun and special. My questions are:

With the unique date-how far in advance should I begin planning?

Weather-I remember a little rain on our honeymoon. My mom is there now and she said it is on and off rainy. If we plan an outdoor location, what happens in case of rain?

I love reading all of your reports and plans! TIA:goodvibes

That is a really great idea, and so cool that your 11 year anniversary falls in 11/11/11!

I think that the same rules apply to the popular dates. The WP = 8 months in advance, and the other locations can be booked at 12 months in advance! Good luck with your planning :goodvibes

i would call about a month or two before your 12month mark..maybe they can pencil you in. That is what they did with ours. I couldn't officially book until the 12 month mark, but Cathy did have me marked down

And usually "unique" dates have higher minimums. Kind of like holiday dates.

We were told days such as 7-7-7 8-8-8 things that have sequences that are fun like yours are 30,000 for wishes to start with. I'm not sure the difference for escape weddings. Days such as those and holidays all have higher minimum spending that is required do to the popularity of the date! HTH

wow, that's a massive jump in the minimum!

. o 0 (Note to self - make sure my date doesn't look fancy...)

Thank god I havent set my heart on my date as i'm not paying over double for teh date I had in mind (as it was I didnt realise it was a sequence until someone else pointed it out! pmsl)

Absolutely rediculous in my opinion, but hey when Disney knows customers will pay it, what incentive do they have to scrap that policy!!
