I didn't see this date added so I wanted to start a thread. We just booked our first DCL cruise last night and so very excited. 11/11/11 is our 11th wedding anniversary so we figured we should do something epic. Bringing our DS that is 8. Opted to leave DD at home since she is only 2. We do need some relaxing on this trip after all. DS will be so busy doing everything in the kids club I am sure.

Who else is sailing then?? :)

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Hi, Candy Wife!
11 years, 11/11/11, now THAT's epic!:thumbsup2
DW and I did our first DCL cruise for our 30th, and took my folks on the WONDER for THEIR 60th.

We will be aboard with 2 other couples, and the two adult(20-somethings) daughters of one couple.

Don't feel bad that this thread isn't that active, I've found that the three-day cruises never are. Might have something to do with the fact that DIS folks seem to book more of the longer cruises, and the three-day ones attract more first-timers and less "DISNEY-holic" people, for lack of a better term.
But - - - - We'll be joining you, and will be sure to wish you a happy anniversary!:cheer2::banana::cheer2::banana:

Count us in - we'll be joining you on the 11/10 Dream 3-night. It is me, DH and DD, 13. We are in cabin 7540.

We are actually doing back to back cruises with the 11/6 4-night.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone over the next months.

Tammy

I will be on board with my fiancé and 49 other friends and family. We will be getting married on Castaway Cay! I am very excited!:bride:

Yay more people on board for 11/10! This is our very first time on DCL and we couldn't be more excited. We are true Disney geeks though, just were honestly not able to afford a DCL cruise. We did a 3 night because don't want to be gone too long from our little one right now, since she isn't coming with us. Hopefully we can book a 5-7 days once she is older and it's easier.
Awww a DCL wedding, how beautiful!
And 50 people in one group?! I hope to get my whole family and friends to go on one some day, I think it is would be so much fun to do a cruise with loads of people :)

We will also be joining you. 6 of us. 1st time Disney cruise. Looking forward to this. We are on deck 7 room 7662 & 7664. We have a disabled daughter (14) that absolutely loves Goofy. We did Disney in nov. and at the move it shake it parade goofy came and danced with her for about 10 mins. It was the highlight of her trip. My son (11) cant wait for Aquaduck. Hoping for GREAT weather, we are from NY and this winter makes us wish for the warmth.

Aww, Goofy is a total sweetheart :)
It's our very first Disney cruise too, we live about 3 hours south of WDW so we try and get there as often as we can. My 8 year old son is so excited but he also doesn't want to see too much on it because he knows it is so far away for him right now to get super pumped for it. Hehe. I am sure our boys with be playing in the Oceaneers Lab together then :)

We have now decided to take our little daughter too. I couldn't bare the thought of leaving her. I know I would see the princesses and know she would love it so I convinced my hubs for us to take her. We can still relax here and there. Some nursery time for dinner maybe. Can't wait!

Can't wait to join everyone on the cruise!!! My family is traveling with 16 (of which 8 are kids ranging from 3 to 13) in our group so far! We've all booked and are on Deck 8. This is our first cruise and what a way to start cruising ON DISNEY!! :cool1:

I think that I've watched every youtube video on the Dream that I can get my hands on!! LOL Anyone else doing or even heard of the fish extenders thingys?

BTW Congrats PixieDust!!!

This will be the kid's (ages 9,7,6,3) first cruise. My husband and I sailed on the Wonder in 2000 pre children so this will be a whole different experience I'm sure. Can't wait...have been scouring the boards for tips and ideas. Glad to see other cruisers out there!

Welcome! And being from the NYC area as well (born and raised, now in Northern NJ), we are SO with you on tired of this winter. But at least we have a short WDW visit in April.:woohoo:

Welcome! And absolutely a great way to start. One of the couples who are joining us on this trip, we met on the 2010 EB TransAtlantic -14 days- that was THEIR first cruise ever - talking about jumping right in! This 3-day will be their 4th cruise already, all DCL. They'll also be with us on the June 28th Alaska aboard the WONDER. We all want to experience the DREAM.
We did a family group of 14 in November 2008. Only advice I'll give for now is to plan on dinners together, otherwise, I found trying for more than that was like "herding cats" :rotfl2:

As for the Fish Extenders, it CAN be done, but the 3-day itinerary is kinda hectic. We've done it in the past, will be passing this time around. Here's a link that explains a lot

With that many family, you may be interested in a Mickey cabin-tag, as well. We'd join in on that:cool2:

Welcome! Lucky kids!:dance3::dance3:

@disdel

We're already looking at dates to plan our 7 day caribbean so we can book while cruising this time! :)

So what is Mickey cabin-tag!?

Hi! Brand new to the Disboards! A mom and a DS7!.. We're joining Nov. 10th and again Aug 2012 assuming we are going to love it as much as everyone else seems to. This will be my son's first experience cruising on the "Zach and Cody" boat (his moniker for cruise ships). I am way more excited than he is! popcorn::pirate:

We are on this cruise and are the couple disdel mentioned. As of now it will be myself, my DH, 2 DD (23 & 25), 3 other couples for a total of 10 in our party. This will be my DH and my 4th DCL cruise and one daughter's second and one's first. We will be celebrating youngest DD graduation from college. We are so looking forward to enjoying the Dream and traveling with good folks.:cheer2::cheer2:

Our family will be on the cruise also. It will be my husband and I, as well as DD(9) and DS(5). We have been on a 4-day and 7-day and can't wait to see the Dream.
Our kids LOVE the fish extender fun and would like to have a group, even if it is just a 3-day cruise.
My parents will also be cruising with us.

We are hoping to book on the Fantasy for the following year when we are on board as well. With our DD being older by then hopefully we can do a 7 day by then :)
Not sure if we are doing FEs or not sounds like it might be too much. But I do want to make something with all our names to hang on the hook anyways, it just look cute to me :)

Great plan! We plan to do some bookings while abord the WONDER in June, as well. Hope for some good news on itineraries for the MAGIC for the latter half of 2012.

Don't feel lonesome kids...there's a whole gaggle of us on the 11/6 4 day that are staying on for this cruise too! :thumbsup2

I'll post a link to this thread over there, so the B2Bers can come over and say Hello

.

We're on this one too as part of a B2B with the 11/6 sailing.
