Yikes, this reminds me I better have some warm clothes for everyone to get home from the airport! It's been so warm here lately.

Linda, what time do you expect to get to the terminal? What time do I expect your call?

Always setbacks....I feel so sad :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

One of my dearest friends (age 43) had a massive heart attack at 12:30 this morning. She is in ICU at the local hospital. The doctors have no idea yet what is going on with her. She is on life supporting machines right now. Please pray with me for my friend Annmarie....please pray for the doctors that are treating her and please pray for her husband Bob and two high school students Brian and Sara.

Thank you everyone for keeping Annie in your prayers. She has not been doing very well most of the week....it has made me so sad. It looks like she may have turned a corner this morning...I just got the following e-mail. Please keep the prayers up for her as she recovers

Annie is doing much better today.

Michael just spoke with Annie - very slurred speech but he was able to make out what she was saying and she knew who he was.

The doctors have removed her feeding tube and she is eating "ice chips" and sitting up in a chair. She will not be moved from Fair Oaks to Fairfax until Monday.

We're keeping Annie in our prayers. Fairfax is such a good hospital that I'm sure she'll make amazing improvements once she's stable enough to move.

We're looking forward to meeting everyone Saturday; either at the terminal or the 3pm Goofy pool meet. We'll be the ones with the "Goofy" smile and the green mickey's on our shirts! :teeth:

Disneylover5- Great News there is power in prayer. You will all remain in my prayers.

Safe trip to all! See you on the ship!!

I'm hoping to be there as close to 10 as possible but...you just never know!!! I will probably call after I get checked in and somewhat organized. Glad to hear the promising news about Annie.

Looks like everyone is on their way. We leave in a few hours. Not exactly sure how we're fitting all these bags in a Ford Taurus :rotfl2: See ya real soon!!

The kids are at school. We are going to pick them up at 10 to head to the airport. The dog is on his way to the kennel. Bags are packed. I think we are ready. Hope I didn't forget anything. We will be landing in Florida at 3:30 and then the vacation begins. :cool1:

Dogs/cats on the way to the kennel. The van comes at 9am. See everyone in Florida - travel safely!

We are in Jacksonville, FL........we will be at the terminal at 10 am!! See everyone then!!

We are home and uploading pictures!! Anybody re-book on board? (Best medicine for post cruise depression...I think that is what Suzy Mouse has)

We booked for the last cruise available and we will change to a Nov 2008 Eastern cruise.

Now, we are planning the MED!! only a few months away!!!

Good luck unpacking and doing laundry, I just counted I have 11 loads to do!!

We got thrown back into reality. It took an hour to get our luggage from JetBlue. Avistar took 45 minutes to get our car. Then when we finally got home, we were locked out of the house!

Did your daughter get to trade all of her pins?

Sorry about being locked out of your house. I got up this morning to go to church and I was locked out of my car (keys were in car...car locked)...oh well.

Well...you gave her so many pins she couldn't possibly have traded them all. So we spread your wonderful pixie dust around and my other children and the children we travelled with traded them too. :wizard:

I had to laugh b/c one night my 4 year old DS insisted on trading a CM for this gold pin. He didn't want the Stitch, he didn't want the DCL pin, he wanted this gold pin! The CM laughed and handed it over. Later that night I went into your ziplock to find another pinback and I saw 3 more gold pins just like it. It had to be a pin from your group. What can I say? He loves it!!

Thank you again for your generosity. All the kids really enjoyed trading on the ship.

I feel like I got a bonus day of vacation....DH did about 5 loads of laundry (I did help fold) and got all the suitcases unpacked and stowed in the attic. :thumbsup2 I do have to get dinner on the table, though. Where are Antonio and Eva???

We had a fantastic time on our first cruise!!! I managed to meet some DISers. I met jsfein (and family all over the place!), dale-not-chip (while in the check-in line), disneylover5 (in the gift shop trading pins!), and MMmouse 37 (she was in the room next to my mom and her husband). I probably quite a few more of you but didn't realize you were DISers. If anyone noticed, I was the one with the picture tote bag. I got quite a few compliments on it. We uploaded our pics and I need to figure out which ones to print to update my bag.

I'm looking forward to reading cruise reports. I already read some of SuzyMouse's report while on board. I hope to have a report posted sometime this week.

Thanks again for everyone's tips. We had a very enjoyable experience. A special thanks for tips on door decorations, especially the mouse ears for the portholes (we got quite a few compliments). Another piece of fantastic advice was the shoe holder. With 6 of us, there was a lot of little stuff and it just got it off the counters. It kept the staterooms neat and uncluttered.

We had a great time on our first cruise! I enjoyed meeting many of you - Suzy Mouse, love2travel, disneylover5, lindaso and tigger2006.

DD9 hooked up with all of her new disboard friends and met a few more while she was at it. DD4 loved the club and didn't want to leave.

Booked another cruise for spring break 2008, but might try to move it to 2009 when the dates become available.

The drive home was eventful. We stopped at a character outlet store in St. Augustine, which extended the trip a little bit. Then, DD4 decided to get sick in the minivan - yuck! DH, DD9 and I got it today - the dread stomach virus. :sad2: Thank goodness we got it today and not on the cruise itself.

Hope everyone had a good time and a safe trip home.

We arrived home today. We spent the day yesterday at the Kennedy Space center. Started doing laundry but still have a lot more to go!

My daughter had a good time hanging out with Princessfan2006's daughter. My son spent most of his time wiht his cousin. This gave me and DH time alone more than we thought we were going to have. :)

Our dog was happy to see us. Back to the real world.
