Hey everyone!

I'm running my first official 10k this weekend coming up. What is the miniumum time you need for proof to be moved up in corrals for the Disney half?

Thanks!

I can't tell you the minimum time but I would send the time in regardless of how long it takes you. If it is fast enough you will move up, if not no harm. I would also bring your time with you to the expo. There is a chance they overlook the time but will move you up at the expo. If you run a faster 10K between sending in the time and the marathon bring those results with you also.

Good luck.

Thanks FireDancer! Yup... I (hopefully) plan on improving my 10k time from now until then so I'll definitely bring a print out with my best time. I dont NEED to move up in corrals... but it would be nice for my mental running health. :)

Side note...did you make your icon with the Mickey head and fire dancer? Very cool mix of Dave and Disney!

Yes, I did make it and thanks. If it wasn't for the only artistic skill I have is with Photoshop. I just got done watching the live concert at the Beacon that Fuse showed and it was a great show. Over 3 hours and the crowd was limited to 2,500. A bit more intimate than the 50,000+ I saw him with in Nashville in April.

Good luck with the 10K, I'm sure you'll get to move up.

For the Princess 1/2 last year, you had to have proof of time for under 2:45. Assuming it's the same for the January half (and ma calculations are correct) that would mean a time of 1:17 or less in a 10k. I agree with firedancer -- definately bring results with you so you can get your corral changed.

good luck & have FUN!

thanks again guys! I was able to finish on Sunday in 1:05, so happy :)

Dont want to open up another thread so hopefully someone sees this again... is a normal print out from the race website sufficient enough? Or do I have to send them something more 'official'?

Oops... Ignore that last question... apparently I was blind on the race website. it clearly says a print out is acceptable. :)
