The 3 days we will be there (May 5-7th) both DCA and DL open at 10am. We do not have any MM since we are using military park hoppers and staying at HoJo. Our "must dos" are: Fantasyland, Pixie Hollow, Princess Fantasy Faire, and TSM at CA. I have NO IDEA what my plan should be anymore! Everything we want to do should be "first things" but we only have 3 days. I've never been to DL when it didn't open until 10am. How does this affect the mornings?

I'm not real sure how it affects anything. We're going the week before you and 10am is the opening for us too. For MM opening will be at 9am. Wednesday would be your best bet to do Fantasyland since it's a non MM day.

I think Pixie Hallow opens a little later than rope drop.. PFF is only a meet and greet now and I think it opens a little later too. Go to DCA on one dat and do TSM at their rope drop. Make sure to line up over by GRR as they will walk you over a little before the actual time. Hit Dumbo and PP (if it's open) then move on to Pixie Hallow to wait.
You'll be fine! 3 days is plenty of time. Relax and have fun!

Oh, we also have PS at BB at 11:30 our 1st day. I am thinking I should make it for maybe noon since 1 hr. and 15 mins. isn't going to be much time to tour anything our first day...

Ok here's a general idea of how I would plan my mornings:

5th (Tuesday, MM day)- start off at DL, but start on the "left" side of the park (adventureland, frontierland, NOS, critter country) because the MM crowds will be in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland

6th (Wednesday, non-MM)- start off in Fantasyland and do all of the rides there first thing

7th (Thursday, MM day)- while everyone is playing in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland during MM, start at DCA at 9:30 with Soarin and lining up for TSMM at rope drop

Now, I recommend hopping every day because it's so convenient, so if you are dying to do TSMM, try it in the evening/afternoon of your first two days. PFF and Pixie Hollow both open later than the park, so you can probably do both without very long lines after Fantasyland on your second day.

If you want a water side table at BB, it might be best to keep your ps's for 11:30....

My little one has her heart set on riding Dumbo first thing...I wonder if I could convince her of Pirates instead.... ;)

It'd also be nice to already BE on that side of the park for our 11:30 PS....

You could head to Dumbo first, but expect there to be a small line already. Then after that you could head over to that side of the park. Be flexible.

DL opens at 10:00am when they are expecting lower crowds, so that's to your advantage.

On Tuesday, May 5, at 10:05am, RideMax says the expected wait for Dumbo is 11 minutes.

On Wednesday, May 6, at 10:05am, RideMax says the expected wait for Dumbo is 4 minutes.

HTH :goodvibes

Do Dumbo first as you want a happy princess.:cloud9: You can do many of the Fantasyland rides by 11 am then either take the path out of Fantasyland at Pinocchio which is wide and not to crowded or take the exit next to BBB and over through Frontierland. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk depending on the person and how many stops you make. If you are lucky you might get Dumbo twice in a row in under half an hour. Either way you can pick up an FP for Big Thunder along the way.

Thank you for all the advice! After discussing w/ my 2 Princesses (:)) they both are in agreement we can start at POTC on our first day. I was shocked! It will be nice to start that side of the park, DH and my oldest can do Splash, Indy, and BTMRR while the little one and I ride Pooh and hopefully visit w/ them at Pooh's Hunny Spot - the 6 1/2 yr. old just not interested this time she said, lol.

AND still finish by 11:15?! We shall see!

Fantasyland will be a definate 1st thing on Wednesday - S.S. Columbia, thank you for the Ridemax tips!
