That's pretty much what happened to us. We just went to look at our new house out of curiosity. Little did we know we'd put an offer on the house right then and there and it was accepted the same evening. The closing is occuring next week. So it was only under contract for 3 weeks. We drove by it tonight and the sellers are working like mad to move out.


BTW if you're going to be helping both your DD and in-laws I'm guessing the weight lifting will really help

C.Ann if this isn't you I apologize, but wasn't your daughter having issues with the sellers making no attempt to move out? Has the situation changed any or are they still on pins and needles?

I'm crossing my fingers for your DD. I'm glad that there is an escrow account to avoid a trashed home. I'm so sorry she's had to go through all this stress. I know that I'd be a basket case! The good news is that May 1st is just a few days away so I'm sure time will tell how this is going to pan out.
