OK, so maybe this is quite a few podcasts ago, and I'm sorry I missed it if someone figured it out, but Phineas and Ferb starts with June 3 on the calendar. So, if I'm not mistaken, that would take their summer vacation to September 14 (where this happens is beyond me). But the bigger news: TODAY WOULD BE THEIR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. Of course I'm so proud of myself for figuring this out and the few of my kids who watch the show (and love it) didn't care. They're just too bummed they don't get 104 days.

My kids are also bummed that they don't get 104 days and I was told that "it just isn't fair". They don't listen to half of what we say but will pick up on every word in the title sequence to Phineas & Ferb.

We get like 42 days of summer vacation here.
But I do love phineas and ferb, hence my avatar :lmao:

:goodvibes

I counted too and my university gets 105 days of summer vacation. My kids get fewer.

p.s. Of course during this "vacation" I teach summer courses, work on research, write papers/articles, plan programming and other sundry activities

I know. I pointed this out to my husband and he said "Really? THAT'S what's so hard to believe about this show?"

Love Phineas & Ferb!!!!!! :) I am so, so glad that more merchandise for them is popping up. I'm hoping for something in the parks soon, too.

I think my wife and I enjoy the show as much as our kids (if not more..). Of course I don't get a summer vacation with my job. So if you count the time I ask off..I guess I get about 5 to 10 days of summer vacation. Man I miss being in school sometimes....

True, kids should enjoy it while they can, who doesn't miss summer vacation? Of course when I was young mine didn't include WDW, so maybe I'm better off now?

Well Phineas and Ferb aren't exactly loafing with all the building of rockets, finding mummies, climbing up the Eiffel Tower.... ;)
