NO COUPONS??? What is this world coming too? And what about the sacred coupon barcode--does it mean nothing???
 I take great joy in reporting to my family the exact amount that I saved each week! And I save bunches on our prescription meds--sometimes enough to pay my copay for them. Do you all pay for meds, Jo or is it all free??

(no time to hit JCP--had to pick up the family pictures at Sears......then argue with the photographer. On my 10x13 , she had cropped it so that all you could see of me was my head.......no neck........no body.........just a head.
She said "I don't see anything wrong with it." :headache:
I made her reorder.

WTH is a barcode coupon???? We really don't get many coupons here and most definitely not on prescriptions!!!! Kida and the elderly get them free but adults have to pay it costs about $13 regardless of what you get, when my Step Mum was on cancer treatment which cost thousands she still had to pay $13, you can also buy a yearly thing so if for example you have asthma and need to get lots of prescriptions it works out cheaper :thumbsup2

The barcode is the UPC thingie that the computer uses to see what product it is (same barcode that they use to ring up your grocery order--but now, it's on the coupon). This ensures you actually bought what the coupon is for--not really a good thing, now that I think about it.

I sent you the portrait layout of the family picture (or else the guy in Denmark is getting it!).
I had the landscape layout blown up to 10x13, and that's when they cropped off my body!
I looked like a floating head! And the lady actually put it in a frame and said "looks good to me!" :headache:
"BUT I HAVE NO BODY!!":sad2:

Oh--the prescription industry is a mess. The price you pay depends on 1-whether or not you have prescription insurance coverage where you or spouse works, 2- what contract that insurance company has with the drug dealers,
3-how close you live to Canada........

My copay (and I have good insurance coverage) is $20 for 90 day generic, and $50 for 90 day brand name). That's if I get it by mail order, which I do for our ongoing meds. I get on the drug company websites and get coupons and rebates to offset this cause we all take a lot of allergy/asthma stuff.
I worked in indigent care in TX, and it was really sad--most seniors, diabled, and working-poor can not afford any medications.

I used to cut every coupon and had a folder labeled for each food in little money collector's plastic thingys. I would spend some much time and energy I had to weigh out my time, and I decided it was too much. I hated the mess of those stupid coupons all over the living room too.
I love to get a deal, but I have to find a happy medium. This week I just pulled out the pages of things I actually use, not things I can get for $.07 and may never use. I hate clutter! :headache:

I wanna see the floating head...

Me too :rotfl2:

Y'all are making me ohhhh so happy that I don't do much shopping  Have fun with your continued holiday shopping endeavors - may you find everything and may it be on sale ;)

Today's questions...
Photopass- yes or no?

Lion King at AK: where to sit? I know I read that there are different sections. Is one animal more interactive or have a better view?

Thanks ahead of time. :goodvibes

Hey HSM: We had pre-ordered the photopass CD, but wound up cancelling it when we came home. We just didn't get enough photopass pics taken. We did get the photo book though. We could add our own pictures along with the photopass pics, so it was a better deal for us!

We have sat in every section of the LK and don't think there is a bad seat in any of the sections. If your kids are the type to volunteer or want to be part of the show make sure to sit towards the front so they have a better chance of being picked!

We liked the PP, you must preorder though as it's cheaper and as Janet said you can still cancel! We managed to get (once I'd added borders etc) over 300 photos so it was pretty good value for us! Maybe do it then decide when you get home whether you want to still buy it!

When we've been to LK we had no choice of where we sat the CM just pointed us to our seats!

Photopass- yes or no? What kind of question is that? Yes, of course Yes! That's like asking: Beer- yes or no? Always Yes. ::yes::

It's "Festival of the Lion King", not just Lion King! :sad2: Oh, and sit anywhere you want. It's all the same. I prefer sitting in the middle of the bleachers.

Sorry, oh wise one... :rotfl: I'm so glad to have your advice. It really is helpful.

Thanks everyone for the help. I'm going to go ahead and get it, especially since I can cancel it if I don't get many pictures. And, since hubby just called and told me he got a year-end bonus who cares about the money!! woohoo!!! :woohoo:

No, I'm kidding. But I CAN pay off the doggy's surgery and our trip instead of making monthly payments. So it is really good. No one else earned one, but the bosses gave him one out of their own money because they are so happy with the work he's done this year. (He was promoted and we relocated last August.) I'm so proud.

I loved photopass, I ended up with over 300 pictures after I finished editing. Just stop and get your picture taken whenever you see a photographer. I think I had a picture taken of us from every possible angle in front of the castle. I am glad that I did because some of them turned out great and in others some of us looked terrible. Not to mention some of the photographers have a lot of fun with it and will get you to do different poses and such. Definietly worth the money in my opinion.

:woohoo: on the bonus. That must have been a nice little surprise and it must make your DH feel really good to know that he is valued so highly.
