1000 Islands?

Anyone ever do the 1000 Islands dinner cruise?

Anyone from that area know where the ports are and what else there is to do around the area?

i can't seem to find where the ships depart from. We're thinking of camping there but there are 3 koa's and a few more other campsites around but we don't want to be too far from port.

if you've been on the cruises did you like them? what about Boldt Castle worth going to?

My husband and I went on the one that leaves from Kingston and it was great. This was strictly the cruise and dinner, no stops. It was raining the whole time but it was cozy and romantic all the same. It was quite a while ago but I do recall that the food was great and can't remember anything specific about the service so it must have been good (I would likely remember if it was bad ).

We have a summer home on one of the islands. These are the two boat cruise companies that do both regular cruises and dinner ones. They both go into the heart of the Thousand Island's area and Bolt Castle stops. We did our wedding reception cocktail hour on one of the boats, but had dinner back at the main restaurant. Kingston is at the very far reaching tip of the 1000 Islands and is a stretch...
