What would you do?

Add on 100 now at BWV or wait for SSR to open and add 100 there?

What do you think the point structure is going to be for SSR?
Would it even be worth it to wait and do 100 pts there if the point structure is going to be real high per night? Does this make sense?

Do you think SSR will be very popular and hard to book at the 7 month window?

SSR is supposed to be larger than OKW, do you honestly think you won't ever be able to get ressies there?!! I would add on at BWV now, since they are much more difficult to get ressies for, and you can use the pts immediately. Now, if you already have enough pts for your current use, and you would have to take out a loan for the add-on, then I would say to wait till SSR opens, and buy your pts then. You will almost certainly be able to get ressies at SSR, at least initially. If it follows past patterns, as people buy in, it gets more difficult to get ressies, since DVD is a bit slow at releasing rooms into the DVC inventory. But, also following past patterns, the rooms will cost more pts per night than the other resorts, and the cost of a pt will probably be more, too.

I agree 100%, excellent points made.

I'd go for the 100 point BWV add-on. Your points will go further there, and location and amenities are excellent.

Take the 100 BWV points now. With a resort the size of SSR, you will be better able to get a room there than any other resort at the 7 month window.

It will probably be cheaper over the long haul to add on at BWV now. I suspect the price at SSR will eventually be higher.

Like a previous poster stated, with 580+ rooms now planned for SSR, a booking window should not be an issue.

The one thing about SSR that would interest me is, will they extend the contract end date from 2042, into the 2050 range?
