100 Point Buy in From Disney?

Is Disney still offering the 100 point buy in at AKL and SSR? Or have they stopped with the new incentives?

We started our process in Feb this year & it just closed end of March & yes we did the 100 point buy in for akv. Everything I read online, etc said min was 160 but my brother in law was our referral & he got the 100 point when he bought in last summer so when he called the guide to refer us, he told him we were expecting a similar deal. It was no problem...but I still haven't found anything regarding info for a 100 point buy in online or in print.

I know they did it up to at least 3/20, that is when I talked to my guide. But, are they still offering it with the new incentives?

I did some looking around and can't seem to turn up info if it is available or not at this date. Probably would be best to give guide a call and ask.

It is possible that it ended at the end of March. When I asked my guide about it last week to get clarification, he said that it was available with the $6.25 discount but would be ending last weekend.

The only thing I don't know for sure is if he meant the $6.25 discount was ending, or the ability to do a 100 point add on was ending, or both.

I would just call or email your guide. I think that if you called and said you wanted to do it, even if it has ended, DVC will sometimes let people get in under old incentives is you are buying in close to the time it ends.

AKV looks absolutely beautiful.. my only concern is that they are adding on so much that it will become a.......... well I was going to say ZOO
But seriously, is there overdevelopment at some of the resorts where there are too many residents for the available facilities, pool etc?
