I have stayed in the 100 loop many times, but never pitched a tent. We will be staying at the Fort in April, and some of our friends will be joining us. They will be bringing a tent. Their tent is quite large. I am a little worried that it is too large. I can find info for the 1500/2000 loops on the web, but no one has measured the 100 loop sites that i can find. If anyone is in the 100 loop with a tape measure, could you see what the maximum size tent I could set up? Are the 100 loop tent pads similar in size to the 1500 loop pads? Thanks.

Here's the tent in question.

wdwrroad, can you get even a guesstimate of the size of the tent from your friends and pass it on in the thread? That might help someone who is at the Fort to be able to measure maybe an unoccupied site, then eyeball others (bigger than the one measured, smaller, same?) and then compare that opinion to the size.

I could guess from looking at the picture but it would be better coming from them.

PS - I always advise people to add the size of their tent (12x10, etc) as a note on their reservation (can be done over the phone). The Fort folks seem to try to match available sites to info/constraints noted on the reservation.

If you have been to 100 loop you have probably noticed that some pads are small, if what people are saying about disney now enforcing the rules it might be too big, I have, in all the years of going have never been ask to adjust my camper by disney..
