100% cotton or 50/50 for t-shirts??

I think I've heard both - can anyone help me as to which is the best type for iron on transfers?

did you check the directions on the transfer paper you purchased? I found that HP has different recommendations than Avery but then again the HP was for dark and the Avery was for light.
