We are staying off site and do not have the DDP.

We will be going to character meals and having the buffets. Can I say my daughter is 9 since she really won't eat much, or do they check our tickets to see that she has an adult ticket?

I'm not trying to scam but I'd hate to spend $30+ dollars for her to eat some nuggets and fries.

Thanks.

Sorry, no. If she is 10 it's the adult price no matter how much she eats.

You're actually not paying for the food, for the most part, just the entertainment - so really it doesn't matter how much anyone eats - adult or child - you must pay the appropriate pricing.

Keep in mind that even 10 year olds with disabilities that force them to eat very , very little will also have to be paying like an adult - just for the characters!

My 5 year old nephew has Down Syndrome and due to complications doesn't actually eat ANY solid foods. He might be able to eat a little bit if they have apple sauce on the buffet at Chef Mickey - but other than that - nothing. His parents will be bringing in his food - but they still have to pay for him.

One thing I like to suggest in these situations is to go to breakfast for your character meals - you get the SAME intereaction for less $$. And since she won't be eating much either way - that part doesn't really matter.
