Would a 10 year old order from the kid or adult menu on the DDP?? I booked the trip as 2 adults, 2 kids, with the kids being 10 & 8 at the time of trip, but DD's appetite is really starting to grow so I'd like for her to get the adult menu!

Adult is 10+
Child is 3-9

So your 10 year old would be able to order from the adult menu.

You should be registering the children at the ages they will be during the trip, not the ages they are now. A 10 year old is an adult to Disney and should be purchasing an adult dining plan and adult park tickets. If you want her to get the adult dining plan you will need to call Disney and have her registered as 10 years old. Your key card should list your party as 3 adults and one child.

I consider a 10 year old a child still so I booked the trip as such. It says Children's ages at time of travel on Disneyworld.com. You can select Inf.-17 years old. I'm not certain if, when you're selecting their ages, the site will automatically charge accordingly, but I want to make sure that by me selecting 10 years of age she'll be able to get the adult DP.

I just priced two different vacations, one with a 9 and 8 year old and one with a 10 and 8 year old, and they do adjust the prices, excellent!!

The ages for resort reservations are different. Kids under 18 don't trigger the third adult charge for the room, which is why they list infant - 17 when you book a room. But kids 10 and over are adults for tickets and dining.

If she's registered as 10 years old she has the adult dining plan.

YOU are correct. When you set up your package you will put your 10 year old in as a child. Mark them as 10 "like you did" and Disney WILL make them an "adult" for pricing.

IF you put in 3 adults and 1 child you then will get charged an extra adult charge per night for having more than 2 adults in the room.

When I register I do 2A & 2C, then they ask their age which I give them, they are both over 10. I am sure the card will read that once it is processed. Ours reads 4 Adults.:)
